Three sleazy samples of 1960's sexploitation are presented in all their kinky glory on this triple-feature DVD from Something Weird Video. One Shocking Moment, The Abnormal Female and Maidens of Fetish Street have all been transferred to disc in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1; all three look good considering their obscurity, though One Shocking Moment fares best thanks to its relatively expert photography and the clean quality of its source materials. The audio for the three features has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo, preserving the original monophonic sound mixes, and they sound as good as can be expected for exploitation movies shot in the mid-1960's. All three movies are in English, with no multiple language options included. Bonus materials here include three trailers for three kink-heavy exploitation features (the features attractions are not among them, however), a grainy 8mm peep-show loop called Punishment Party, and a gallery of film stills and artwork from Something Weird's "Sick Sixties Sex" trading card series accompanied by radio spots for vintage exploitation fare. Adventurous film buffs looking for an evening of quality perversity will find just what they're looking for on this DVD, which lives up to Something Weird's usual high standards in low-brow cinema.
