I considered getting one of the other top Chromebooks but the idea of having the keyboard downward when in tablet mode didn't appeal to me.
With the HP X2, I love being able to use it as a regular laptop when I need to type. Then if I'm just going to be surfing or watching content, I can use the X2 in tablet mode.

It's wireless in the sense that it connected to your internet through WiFi. However, for power, it need to be plugged into an outlet.
I've seen a product, that is sold (on that very famous site owned by the richest person in the world) that acts as a power supply. It's like a docking station for the Mini that provides power for it and makes the Mini truly wireless. I don't have any experience with it so I can't comment as how well it works.
