Glossy steelbook with stunning design. The plastic slipcover layers over it very well, these steelbook releases have been awesome. My only complaint is that mine was dented. It sucks how often steelbooks here have damage to them.

Excellent packaging. The steelbooks are housed snug in the awesome metal housing. It looks great next to the Lord of the Rings one. There are no special features included so if you want the apendacies you'll have to buy the Blu-ray extended trilogy seperately.

Really great and popping art on the discs, steelbooks, and housing case. There is one major flaw that stops this release from being perfect - the extended cut of the final movie is not included here on-disc. They do inlcude a digital redemption code for it.
