Poor initial installation sets up problems

It ended up a long drawn out experience. Despite three installation crews I ended up needing to finish it myself. The initial crew didn’t tighten the hoses and set up the transition duct to fold back on itself requiring further crews to try to fix the issues they set up. A new crew came out. They were respectful and helpful. Tightened the hoses and attempted to unkink the duct. After they left, I could see the fill hose leaking. The third crew - also respectful and helpful - replaced the hose, and again tried to straighten the kinked duct. The new hose worked, but the kink came back. I bought a new crush resistant duct at Home Depot and replaced it myself. I was able to do some redirection of the duct so it wouldn’t fold back on itself. Everything is now working as it should.

Leaky hose

After the initial installation crew left and we did a few loads of laundry noticed a pool of water on the floor. Ended up needing to replace the hose. Could watch it drip. The replacement hose is working fine
