Only lasted a MONTH, luckily I had geek squad

This PS4 controller only lasted a little over a month before having a terrible analog drift. Making it nearly impossible to play.
Had the warranty and swapped out for another.
Next time I need a PS4 controller, I’m getting a #scufgaming controller.

I purchased this headset to be able to hear the game louder and clearer than the Turtle Beach Recon Spark, my previous headset. They definitely do that when connecting directly to PS4 controller.
If you are looking to use the FULL FUNCTIONALITY of the Virtual 7.1 surround sound which is supplied through the USB, you will need to download HyperX Cloud Alpha S Device firmware update on your PC and update the headset.
They have a reddit post posted by the company itself titled “The new Cloud Alpha S 4.1.0.4 firmware update is here” (posted 5 months ago)
Through basic instruction you will be able to update the headset sound card and then it will work seamlessly for your console AND your PC.
After updating, all functions on soundcard will work on PS4 and the game sound will blow your socks off. I hope this helped everyone because it definitely helped me!
