1) Within few minutes of receiving it, while attaching one of the eight antennas to the unit, one antenna split into two pieces. The wire disconnected from the piece that screws into the router. This should have never happened. It's a serious design flaw. I figured I'd call the ASUS help number that was in the box that says "Having Trouble - "Please do not return the product to the store before calling." I suppose in my dreams, I'd imagine ASUS saying that "Sure they could send me a $5 replacement antenna." But no, as soon I explained it to them they said return it to the store. The Router works with 7 out of 8 antennas (with some other exceptions below) so I'd rather not mail it back to Best Buy and have no Internet for a week.
2 ) My computer that I use for gaming can't connect to the 2nd 5 GHZ WIFI connection. While all my other devices (iphones, laptops, etc.) can. No idea as to why. (I updated firmware, drivers, etc.) This problem kind of defeats the purpose of buying a gaming router. Very limited documentation came in the box. So I can't find where to look it up. So I'd recommend that you become an expert in Network Hardware and Software for best results.

Some advice

I have heard about the antennae breaking from a few other people so hopefully when j get mine mine doesn’t. But as far as your computer not receiving signal from the second 5hz. You need to have a mimo compatible WiFi chip on your computer for it to work. All the high end gaming PCs have had it for the last 2-3 years. But if your P.C. is just a normal one or an older gaming pc, it’s not going to work. Unless you upgrade the chip/card. Which is why it works on the other devices since it’s been around in them longer.

Cons:
Sound quality is extremely quiet.
Got a ton of ghosting. Might've been due to clocking it to 144 Hz. Regardless, not a pleasant site.
Comes out the box running 60 Hz. No real instructions to get it set to 144 Hz. Way more convoluted than it should've been. Several settings have to be adjusted beforehand. Which aren't explained with the documents you get.
Pros:
Color is spot on. Didn't notice bleeding even in dark scenes.
Aesthetically pleasing. Externally and the screen itself when not gaming.
Either way, this monitor is not worth the price tag. I could recommend it at $500 at best in this market.

Ghosting is normal with this display type. It also only has 2 15 watt speakers. That’s not gonna be all that loud but all monitors comes with that wattage if they even come with any. Also I’d you find one of this quality for 500 let me know. That price does not exist in this market. Unless you’re going for 1440p.

Overall completely blown away with all the issues this thing has!! Don’t get me wrong the sound is impressive but that it. Siri is useless which I knew that going into it however when you buy apple products you expect the seamless connectivity and ease of use! That’s why I have many many apple products. However this doesn’t even seem like an apple product... it actually makes trying to listen to music a total hassle. And I have new iPhone 11 with Apple Music! Long story short airplay can’t even get through one or two song without stopping. Half the time it can’t even connect if I skip the song it just sits there thinking, and if I use Siri to play my music and does the same thing.... NOTHING!!! Some of the forums ive read said you need a good Wifi setup. Well rest assured I have the best possible WiFi! 1000mbps downloads!! So that is clearly not the case. Trust me I love apple products. I have almost every single one but this is complete trash. Totally useless piece of tech. And I’m saying all this when I bought it 9on sale for $199!! NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!

Why don’t you just you know. Tell it to play the song instead of using AirPlay? You can also use the home app to play it too. This seems more like user error to me.
