A pretty decent upgrade

The Switch 2 isn't groundbreaking or anything, but it does make the original almost obsolete. Most games are backwards compatible with only a few exceptions here and there. Besides getting it for the upcoming Switch 2 only games, there's a few games from the original Switch's library that have received free updates to take advantage of the new hardware's capabilities (and I'm sure more will follow over the years). It's also been getting a steady amount of 3rd party support, mostly in the form of 8th and 9th generation ports, but there'll also be new games. If you liked the Switch, you'll probably be a fan of the Switch 2, but maybe hold off for more games you'd be interested in.
Mario Kart World is plenty of fun, but it really shouldn't be an $80 standalone game, so if you're interested, this bundle is for you. The game is very well made, and exploring the open map is an interesting concept for a kart racer, but there's less courses than previous entries (especially compared to Mario Kart 8/Deluxe after all of its DLC)

It's a fun game, but could be better

Sonic Frontiers tries to adapt the modern Sonic formula into a broader open world setting (kind of). Sometimes it works, and other times it's mundane. You'll end up doing a lot of similar tasks while exploring the open environments. Sometimes they're 2.5D levels scattered around the map and other times it's a challenge that makes a basic puzzle from the Zelda series look like one of the traps in the Saw movies. There's some more traditional Sonic levels you can play through, but most of them are just fragments from those found in previous games. It's also lacking some of the appeal from past Sonic games, like the themed levels (like casino, snow, industrial, etc), and the energetic soundtrack is largely gone. Instead you can find songs from older games scattered throughout the open areas, but it doesn't hit the same.

Everyone should have a Pro Controller if they prefer to play the Nintendo Switch in docked mode. It's infinitely more reliable than using the Joy-Cons with the grip and much more comfortable. The battery life lasts a long time and it has gyro controls. Really the only thing missing is a headphone jack for online play, but I won't fault it since Nintendo's online service is a mess anyway

This game was originally advertised as having the events that led to the plot of Breath of the Wild, but that's not the case at all. So if you were looking to buy the game because the story is canon, you'll be very disappointed
However, the gameplay is still very fun. You're given a large roster of playable characters, with very unique play styles. If you've never played a Dynasty Warriors game or the first Hyrule Warriors, there's a demo in the eshop that should show you the basics.

One of my favorite amiibo. The sculpt on Wolf Link is very detailed and the fur looks very crisp. The details on Midna's helmet also look pretty good for the size of the overall figure
I think it's mainly a great collectors item, but it also has a use in Breath of the Wild, which feels like a nice bonus (even though that's actually one of the main intentions)
