I am an admitted do it your seler.
I am an experienced installer of over the range microwaves.
However this Samsung does not qualify as good in terms of their mounting hardware. That is not included in my rating, however I will put it out there in this review. The installation process blew up because the included mounting hardware, is weak and broke loose from the device when tightening the bolt rendering it useless. Instead I had to improvise a new mounting system which meant adding sheet metal and self drilling screws to the mix. In addition, I had to reinstall it twice as a result of the above failures.
I can only hope that the device functions better than it installs.
I certainly would not recommend this oven for a DIY install.
I personnaly wished I would have purchased a GE or Whirpool.

This oven does not deserve the highest rating being given by many reviewers including CR.
It is a nightmare to clean. It should have come with a self cleaning feature. It is very difficult to access the interior. This is not a full size oven, there are too many nooks and crannies, in a confined space. This will relegate this toaster oven to the large pack of disposables, that I have owned had to throw away, because they cannot be cleaned.
The difference here is this oven cost twice as much.

Sanus technical drawing on theVLF728 bracket screw holes are 11.7 inches apart. However when I use your link to the Sanus site it indicates a 14.9 inch distance, a non starter for my inset mount. Which is it, this is critical to my mount?
