I have 2 outdoor Bose speakers wired thru a Sonos amp for listening outside. Does the sub just plug into an electrical outlet and then get added to my Sonos app?

I have 7 Play1 speakers and 2 Play3 speakers thoughout the house. Will adding the sub in the middle of the house help to add rich bass to the entire system?! It’s a lot of $$ and not sure its worth it?! Thanks
I'm not sure how big your house is but i have my sonos sub in my bedroom and at max volume i can hear it out side of my dobble wide mobile home on the opposite end that the sub is pretty clearly. I personally would say it would be worth the money to add it to your other speakers.
