Jump into a new Yoshi adventure in a world made of everyday objects - like boxes and paper cups! As Yoshi, you~ll leap up high, gulp down enemies, and set out on a treasure hunt to find all the different collectables. On the flip side, stages can be played backwards, providing new perspectives to explore and new ways to locate some of the more craftily hidden items! It all started when Kamek and Baby Bowser set out to steal a gem-set stone. Legend has it that this fabled artifact can grant the bearer their wildest dreams! But when the artifact~s gems are sent flying, it falls upon Yoshi and friends to find them. Luckily, saving the day can be cooperative and challenging. Pass a Joy-Con controller to a friend to team up as fellow Yoshis. Also, Mellow mode gives Yoshi wings for a breezier experience, which may come in handy! Finding all the flowers, coins, and Poochy Pups is no small feat! For extra protection, suit up in one of the handicraft costumes you can unlock in-game!

I never really played any of the Yoshi games, but this one seemed fun so I went and bought it. It is a fun game, but the price is a bit too great for what you actually get. The graphics, music, environments etc. are all great. The gameplay is fun, but getting the souvenirs (find x object(s) in this level) after beating all the levels in a world is repetitive. Overall, it’s good, but just know you will play the same levels a few times each even after finding the level’s existing collectibles.

If you want to play online, you have to get this. It IS cheap in comparison to other online play memberships, but it’s benfits are minimal in comparison. Some games still use peer-to-peer, meaning everyone connects to one another’s consoles instead of a dedicated server. This also means that if one person has a bad connection, so will everybody else. The other thing it gives you is the ability to play some NES games via an app. It works fine, but that’s little incentive to buy it and most people I know and myself rarely use it (if ever). In short, buy it if you really want to play online, but don’t expect a difference in quality compared to when it was free.

It’s great. It plays well and comes with some beginner help if you’re less experienced or have a young kid that wants to play. Online works well, not much lag from my experience. Playing it in tabletop with the two separated Joy-Con is fun and works better than you’d expect. Overall, I think it’s a must have for any Switch owner that likes multiplayer games.

Was alright while it lasted

Just to note, I got this open-box. The previous owner could have broken it or it quit on them too. Either way, getting new would likely yield different results. Anyway, I plugged it into one of the back USB ports on my pc to use an Xbox controller wirelessly. For a couple days, it worked fine. But then, I noticed that inputs were kind of slow and that when I stopped pressing up on the stick my character kept walking. I plugged into a front port and it was even worse, a game that required no fast reflexes was basically unplayable because of it due to the fact I kept moving even when I’d put the controller down. So, tl;dr: get a different adapter or get this one new, don’t try to save a couple bucks because you may get a faulty one like I did.
