This is the worst soundbar ever! Audio dropouts, only very levels of sound, hard to hear dialogue, constantly disconnecting from the TV, I hate that you have to use an app to set it it up. Why can't you stupid, lazy morons back go back to how to use make soundbars? back when you used to make actually good products instead of garbage. I hate the stupid, gimmicky virtual surround sound processing feature Sound Field. It just makes sound worse. Everything actually sounds better with it off. Can we please just get Dolby Atmos without the fake gimmicky virtual surround? I like that you finally got rid of the the truly terrible Vertical Surround Engine. Sound quality is good only sometimes for certain things. I hate that the app forces to also setup your Sony TV with the app. The app sometimes randomly stops working and is terrible. You never use to need to control a Sony Soundbar. I hate how it always asks me to reset up my Sony soundbar with TV every time I turn on my TV. I just want a soundbar like the one I have now that is simple to use and just works but without any stupid sound processing gimmicks and doesn't require an app in order to set up and use and doesn't work and is terrible and extremely difficult to set up.

Never use shipping from BestBuy.com It is the worst. always choose store pickup! Best Buy is the worst! I Hate Best Buy! Incompetent stupid heads! I am going the store to buy a Roku and then just return the other when it finally comes. Which is what I should have done I the first place. The unfair policies no canceling after the first 30 minutes, but I didn't they would be so frickin' incompetent at delivery after the first 30 minutes. Now I want to cancel and pick it up at the store but those Stupid heads won't let me. This is not fair! Instead I have wait forever for it to arrive and it might never arrive like the last time I was screwed over by Best Buy where it took 9 days just to tell my order was delayed and then tried to make me wait another ten days. Best Buy sucks! I hate Best Buy! I am never shopping there again!

This is the worst Blu-ray Player ever! Terrible piece of garbage! Four 4K discs in a row had constant playback problems with sound and picture quality. And Dolby Vision completely ruined my 4K Disc of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. And I have a Sony X950H TV what supports Dolby Vision, Please no more Stupid Gimmicks being forced on me! Where are all the positive reviews coming from? because 4K definitely doesn't live up to the hype. Most discs don't work properly on when played on it. and Many discs start out way too quiet then gets way too loud the more playback goes on. It is way too finicky and can't handle much. Even the smallest amount of rewinding, fast forwarding, chapter forward, chapter backward makes it go haywire. It is terrible and clunky.

This is the worst 4K disc ever! Why would a 2022 Blu-ray release start the same way as my 2009 Blu-ray release of the Hangover with the primative graphics spinning disc icon? On the disc menu they just reuse the same audio track as the main menu of the original DVD release. The picture quality of the actual movie is often blurry and sound quality is terrible. Sometimes when I try to play it , it will just go to a blank black screen. Other Times when I try to play it, My blu-ray player gives me an error message “ unable to play disc.” Older Movies and Really old movies should never be given a 4K release.

Sony TV's Are Terrible Garbage

When watching a movie on Blu-ray disc on a Blu-ray disc player connected to this TV I get an annoying pop-up notification that says, "Finish setting up your TV" and by that they mean setting up an intrusive Google Account. I don't want that. How i do turn that off? Watching a movie on Blu-ray disc has nothing to do with the TV's Internal features. Sony TV's are terrible Garbage!

While this TV has really, really, great, incredible picture and sound quality, Google is terrible. Sure, It's true that you don't need to sign into a Google Account in order to use the TV, but an annoying pop-up keeps pestering you to do so while you're right in the middle of trying to watch a show or movie until you do. Then, one time, right in the middle of trying watch something something on Netflix through my Roku Player, the TV automatically switched to the Google Play built-in Smart TV App all on it's own! Then, Later on, the TV automatically switched to The Smart TV Home screen while I was trying watch a Blu-ray. Doesn't Sony realize Google is a Terrible, evil, corrupt company? Why would they put that in their TVs? I don't expect you to help cause you're never any help. You're probably going answer review with a condescending response like you always do, right?

This is the worst TV ever! Picture way too dark. colors too dull. picture starts out okay then starts to degrade the longer you are watching. constant flickering and glitches. too difficult and complicated to operate. TV Settings Menu too sparse compare 2017 Model Sony Bravia TV. Why would Sony even make such terrible crap? My 2017 Model Sony Bravia 4K Ultra HD TV always gave an incredible picture for every type of content no matter what. Picture quality does Not depend on type of content. And of course your answer for everything is either perform a power reset or perform a software update. Real Helpful. 'Cause software updates solve every problem. They're a cure all. And your response to any possible negative comment about products is just sales pitch. "Ooh, it's has Triluminous color, so it must good. My 2017 Model Sony Bravia had better picture quality. MY 2017 Model Sony Bravia was more well made. My 2017 Model was easier to use. All TVs nowadays are too complicated. It's not fair!

These are terrible garbage! Difficult to set up. Frequently lose connection. They screw everything up. If you turn off your soundbar but leave your wireless receiver on; you get loud static. It hijacks your TV settings causing the soundbar to automatically turn every time you turn on the tv. once i got that fixed, it started automatically turning on the soundbar every time I tried to control the volume of the tv speakers or mute. And even when the wireless receiver was properly paired with the soundbar and the wireless receiver showed a solid green light I couldn't hear any sound coming from the rear surround speakers. Why would LG even sell such crud? on The Sony HTZ9F Soundbar I had before this; The soundbar was terrible but the rear surround speakers were way better. These are awful! The absolute worst! LG is terrible at everything except Blu-ray players!

It's frustrating and incredibly stressful. very picky about what discs it'll play. constant freezing and crashing. Have the push the stop button several times to back to the home screen. terrible sound and picture quality. What's with the file folder icon next the disc icon on the home screen for all blu-ray movies from Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox. Sometimes it comes on picture but no sound. Why is such a terrible blu-ray player so highly recommended?

Great Movie! The discs play just fine. but on the copy I received, the disc labeled theatrical version is actually the unrated version and disc labeled unrated version is actually the theatrical version. Weird and confusing. Didn't really care for the unrated version because there's nothing actually "unrated" about the the extra scenes. An unrated version where nothing "unrated" actually happens". What a concept. I never would've watch the unrated version if not for the mix up in mislabeling discs. And to all those complaining about having to sit though upwards of 10 minutes of ads every time you start up the disc, the second disc in this edition goes right to main menu after the FBI warning.

I give this streaming device no stars, because it's terrible. When you watch a movie on Netflix or VUDU in 1080p resolution, this box tries to put it on Dolby Vision, this is wrong on all levels. Also it tries to put the movie in Dolby Atmos also wrong. It also makes your sound bar cut out. This is one of the the worst electronic product, I have ever bought. Also no phone support from Roku. They also want you to pay for on line support, again wrong on all levels. I will be returning this terrible device tomorrow.

Very disappointed in this TV. Waited half of 2021 for this release. WILL NOT DO proper 4K 120HZ on PC, I had enabled the Enhanced HDMI format, using a verified 8K HDMI cable and still looks blurry. 60hz mode looks perfect but 100hz and 120hz will not display properly. I bought this TV primary to be able to play games at 120hz via my PC with the latest RTX 3000 series graphics card. Updated to latest software update and still same issue.

TERRIBLE. STAY CLEAR from this product. Bad sync issues with TV.
After complaining to Sony, they had me send it to the laboratory TWICE where they weren't able to fix the issue. Sent emails and spent hours on the phone waiting for answers but it wasn't helpful. Eventually gave up.
Look it up on Google - everyone whos purchased this item complains about it later.

This movie is undeniably hilarious, however the other contents of the blu ray leave something wanting. The extras are somewhat lame (when are they not?).
But the worst thing about this disc is that it has literally 10 minutes of previews that you are forced to watch EVERY TIME you play the disc. This is almost unbearable. One time after accidentally hitting stop while watching the movie, I had to wait 10 minutes before I could get back to where I had been. I almost returned the disc after this incident, I was so annoyed.

Guess I got unlucky and received a defective disc (4K Disc). Movie gets to about chapter 6 and locks up. Have tried it on another player of different brand, same problem. Had to pop in the regular Bluray disc to finish the movie, it being my first time seeing it, but without the HDR and 4K quality.

When I have this Sony soundbar (HTZ9F) hooked up to a Sony X950H TV , it frequently stops working and and now it has completely stopped working! Why is that? What should I do?

Even when properly paired and the wireless receiver showed a solid green light, I got no sound from the rear speakers . I tried watching some 7.1 channel content and I got No sound from the rear surround speakers then either. not for any content at all.

I want to use this for audio only and use my LG 4K Blu-player for audio. I mean it's a soundbar, for friggin' sake! Sounbar are mean to be for audio only right?
