Customize your loads the way you want in this Whirlpool Top Load Washer with 2 in 1 Removable Agitator. Simply remove the agitator to give bulky items a little more space to move. You can even pretreat stains right inside the washer using a built-in washing machine faucet to help remove loose soils.

A noisy but great washing machine

It has many great features and delivers clean clothes but it makes a lot of noise, especially every time the motor starts up to spin the tub. So we returned it.

Nice PC with poor tech support from Dell

I like this new Dell desktop except for one thing: There’s some great mystery preventing AEOMI software from making its Boot Media in this pc. This affects ability to restore disk images, which I make regularly in case of virus or malware attacks. Dell support is no help unless I pay them for fixing something they’re keeping secret. I have a work-around but that’s my only CON.

I’ve been using this for almost a year now. Very reliable, doesn’t waste ink (compared to my HP office jets used before). The auto feeder for the scanner is great. Never jams when loading multiple pages and will even scan two sided originals. Text and photos come out very well. You won’t get camera store photo quality out of this or any other inkjet that isn’t dedicated to printing photos, but then for such photo prints I just have them done at a drugstore or camera store. This is just a great printer for multiple use.

Super laptop with one flaw

The display has super fine resolution, far better than most laptops. But HP driver for the screen isn’t fully up to the task and some apps don’t display properly. So far it hasn’t been a big limitation because one can temporarily set the display to lower res if an issue occurs with an app. But HP should do better and they claim is MS’s fault. Really! Get with it HP.

Ok as a spare travel phone

I normally use an iPhone so that colors my opinion. Google’s Android OS is less secure and I find it annoying. Ads and notifications keep coming from Google.
I bought this phone to use while traveling abroad with a foreign SIM. Mostly I used it with WiFi. But it functioned well with WorldSim SIM card for voice and data and it’s camera is very nice. The added SIM for storing photos permitted me to save on phone cost by buying one with only 16GB ram. But I would not recommend that for anyone’s main mobile phone. Too little RAM.

This phone really helps reduce or eliminate spam callers. You load in up to 50 numbers that you allow thru unconditionally. All others hear a request to identify themselves and then press # or else the call is terminated. I am installing a AC1900 WiFi Mesh extender. When I get to the point of entering my Wi-Fi password is says it is the incorrect password which I know it’s not the case. Any advice to overcome that issue?

So the Specs in the Compare chart claim this extender boosts long range up to 10,000 feet, but I'm reading reviews here that are saying that it probably won't even go 175ft. What's the real story? I'm looking to buy several for work for a 50,000ft shop.

Anyone know where I can purchase a replacement ice basket? I use the heck out of mine so much that the basket handle has cracked.
You can probably repair the basket using either epoxy putty sold at most hardware stores. Just take a small amount of the putty and (wearing rubber surgical gloves) mix it well. Wet the putty a bit while mixing to soften it; but small amount of water only. Mold it around the area to be repaired and let it set up. Another option is types of glue that use UV light to cure. This is only good for joining two parts. With the putty you can actually rebuild missing sections.

ice maker has a funny smell. How to git rid of smell. Any idea?
Often bacteria will build up if water is left in the machine. I suggest a 10% vinegar solution mixed with the fill water to disinfect. Be sure to run at least a few clear water cycles thru afterwards. Dry all accessible parts of the unit after each use and allow it to dry in well circulated air too.
