This is my second of these (bc I moved; not bc the last one died). Chose LG w/d bc Consumers rated highest. I really appreciate and use the steam function, for both clothing refresh and for cleaning things like pillows that I don’t want to fully saturate with water in the washing machine.
I guess my only complaint would be not being able to put it on the super low heat setting on the delicate cycle (or probably for any cycle, for that matter, though I haven’t checked the others). I can’t imagine why that’s not an option. So if I want to dry things on super low heat (the lower the heat, the better, for most fabrics, as far as longevity goes), I have to use the timed function and keep checking back until it’s dry. That said, I haven’t explored the custom cycle option bc I just haven’t taken the time to figure out how to do it, so perhaps I can create my perfect delicate-cycle.

This is my second Bosch (bc I moved; not bc last one died). Actually cleans dishes. I’m a total Bosch fan-boy now. They have a totally different (and more energy-efficient) drying mechanism, so as many say, it doesn’t dry plastic well. But a) I don’t put plastic in the dw anyway, and b) I’d think that also means it doesn’t overheat plastic and cause it to crack/fail as quickly. Anyway, I usually run it before going to bed, everything is mostly dry when I wake up (I believe it uses the heat from the hot water that made the stainless interior super hot to dry everything), then I just leave it open to air dry the rest of the way before putting everything away. The bottom rack stuff is always dry; it’s just top rack stuff that collects water (like bottoms of mugs) that aren’t dry yet. But oh yeah, it TOTALLY CLEANS DISHES without you having to soak and “wash” the dishes before you wash the dishes. I also adore the third rack for silverware. If you’re coming from a typical dw, this fits a LOT more.

Does this handle king size comforters ?
It’s tight. I do it, but I do wish i had the larger tub for that bc i’d like to feel more confident my comforter got truly clean, but it’s not like it comes out looking dirty. It was just so much more expensive for the next size up that I couldn’t justify it for washing just one thing. The tub is already SO much larger than what I came from, so it holds a bunch of typical laundry.
