I gave 3 stars because I prefer a receiver with 2 front and back speakers with a center and a sub woofer. The sound is much better and fuller.
On the other hand if you want something simple to connect and take up very little room the sound bar is the way to go. With a Samsung tv you only need one remote which is a plus.
