Included here are The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).

Love the artwork. Love the steelbook casing. Love that they're not stacked in a way that promotes disc scratching. It's a pricey purchase when there are no extra's included but I'm okay with that. I watched the extra's once in the 9 years I had the DVD and then Blu-ray collectors edition. As many reviewers stated, these dent easily during shipping. I went into my store and they brought out four for me to compare after hearing my complaint. I ended up buying this and the LoTR set with no dents after waiting several months for restocking. If you're a Middle Earth fan, this is a required piece of the collection!

This release brings together every entry into Peter Jackson's critically-acclaimed The Lord of the Rings trilogy, based on the novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. Hobbit Frodo Baggins and the Fellowship embark on a dangerous quest to destroy the One Ring, and with it, its maker, the Dark Lord Sauron, in order to save Middle Earth forever. Included here are The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003).

Stop stacking 4k discs!!!

Love Westworld (yes, even season 2). Love my SteelBook collection, too. But for the love of HD stop stacking 4k discs to save space and/or money! I expect higher standards from SteelBooks. Their coating only makes them scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof.
If you're okay with stacked 4k discs, this is an excellent addition to your SteelBook collection. While I am not happy with the product, I would still recommend it since not everyone has my high standards.

There's zero reason to not purchase this 4k movie. This is a great addition to your steelbook collection, too. I've had this on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, and now 4k. The 4k shows blistering pictures that everyone should see.

May not be worth upgrade if you have the blu-ray

The case I received was from 2016 which means everything inside--code-wise--was expired. The exterior plastic was a bit crinkled but it wasn't enough to warrant a return/exchange. I'd stick with the Blu-ray if you already have, but if you don't have it yet the price isn't bad for 4k. Some scenes really pop in the 4k.

I want to like these so much--but there are just too many sound quality issues. The design is the main reason I purchased and I don't regret that part of the purchase at all. General sound quality is great, but there's definite Bluetooth connectivity issues during calls (especially if the other line is on speaker) and while listening to audio.

Much better than the cheaper 4k option!!

So much better than the $89.99 version where they stacked the 4k discs. These are not stacked and have individual spots. The exterior case that hold all the seasons was a little banged up but this is too be expected with the type of material used. Overall, very pleased with this 4k collection.
