Jessica Alba stars in this musical drama about a young woman struggling to make her dreams of becoming a dancer come true, which arrives on DVD with all the trimmings. This version of Honey has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. (A pan-and-scan full-screen edition is also available.) The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1; in addition to the original English-language soundtrack, alternate tracks in Spanish and French are included, as well as subtitles in French and Spanish. A variety of bonus materials have been included with this release, such as a commentary track from director Bille Woodruff and star Jessica Alba, deleted scenes and outtakes, music videos from Jadakiss and Sheek, Shawn Desman, and Blaque, short documentaries of the making of Honey and Blaque's video, and a lesson on how to do the dance moves seen in the movie.
