CEC would not play Nice with Samsung 4K QLEDTV

HEOS didnt perform correctly in app, Had to manually connect via Wi-Fi to Program Reciever, could never get zone2 condig to work, besides turning of anynet+ on Samsung and adjusting HDMI singal levels would randomly drop HDMI connectoin to TV Samsung would no longer se cable box signal through AVR TV out HDMI connection.. Have read others have ad this problem with Denon to Samsung configs. Never was able to get HEOS APP to work, Google play store shows many un happy woth reviews

These outdoor cameras have their ups and downs they either work perfectly one day or they work horrible the next . Never picks up actual people motion it only picks up motion during the day . Never the important stuff always picks up cars etc never people.
But what is weird that some days they work perfectly fine until i end up switching the battery ...so please if you're looking for some nice cameras stay away from simplisafe they're garbage.
For me it's a bit too late I can't return these cameras i payed almost 500$ for such a trash system .
So please save your hard earned money and don't buy these horrible experiences.

Very unreliabe and slow

I've done many camera systems for a bunch of customers in the last ten years. This was purchased by a customer and the asked me to install it.
Documentation is sketchy, customer support is unhelpful, Also certified in network engineering, These outdoor cameras are really unreliable and flaky
On my install I have 9 outdoor cameras with 4 outdoor access points at every camera i have 150 Mbps bandwidth. I can connect to the access points with my cell
and walk completely around building with hand-offs between access points never dropping signal, connecting to access point with cameras, cameras will work
for awhile..and then drop.. accessing a camera realtime via cell takes forever.. Run far far away from these outdoor cameras they are wonky..

I purchased this camera to add onto my Simplisafe security system. I was delighted to see they had an outdoor camera so I purchased this since I've had a great experience with all the other components, including the basic indoor camera.
The installation of the outdoor camera was very easy and took under 5 minutes (with the right tools).
The main issue I've had so far with this camera is the connectivity. I used my main wifi connection in the house and it kept disconnecting or would stay on fine then disconnect later.
I bought a mesh wifi network to broaden the wifi signal so now the wifi connection is literally a few feet away from where the camera is installed outside. Still, having the same issue. I've tried several wifi network connections and no luck.
I don't feel like this camera is good enough in its current state. There may need to be further updates before it will be great; but unfortunately, I'll need to return this one because I don't feel like it's providing the security it's designed to for the home.
I further tested it out by going outside at 12am walked around my drive way for a few minutes and it never captured anything. The camera just stays asleep.
It would be nice if the outdoor camera had the option to check the wifi connection, as this feature is available for the indoor camera. I believe this is an extremely important feature missing for the outdoor camera since these tend to be further away from the home wifi network. I love the idea of this actually integrating with the current Simplisafe ecosystem but i wish it would do the most basic thing, which is keeping a connection and detecting motion.
Not sure if I just received a defective camera and I'm still open to trying it one more time but as for the one I bought, it's definitely not doing the job.

Stii Needs Improvement, two years later

Customer paid over 2600 dollars... new customer, MY experience IS THE SAME TWO YEARS LATER... they still haven't fixed them..
I have 30 years experience in network IT and 10 year professional camera installation..
I wouldn't have recommend this system.. customer was sold on cheap monthly monitoring, I agreed to install.. I don't recommend.

what frequency does the doorbell run on and also what frequency for the outdoor camera. 2.4 or 5 ghz??
2.4 but they are engineered poorly and drop out of service and are slow to access.. In several reviews the company apologizes and says they are working on improving them

more customer service call, If no improvement I will recommend for them to return to simply-safe for a refund or sue in court for misrepresenting their product.
