Great premise. A rare jewell in today's movie world. Great story. But, if you're looking for a good love story, it's lacking due to the hardness of the female character.

Terribly morbid movie. The tempo is slow. The tone is dark without anything to gain your interest. The only good thing is the translation into English is top notch.
Certainly not the most original film, or one of the better adaptations of Stephen King's work, Dreamcatcher is the type of movie to find more life on home video than it did in the theaters. The DVD, while also far from perfect, will surely help. The 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer (there is a severely cropped pan-and-scan version available separately) is nearly perfect, with great contrast and dense blacks, which comprise the majority of the film. This is a dark film, and the selective use of color stands out. This disc flawlessly captures that balance. The sound, which offers a 5.1 Dolby Digital track, is full of life, all in the correct proportions. Dialogue and sound effects are matched effectively, and the proper use of surrounds adds to the overall experience. The supplements, while not overwhelming, do offer some insight on this production. The main gist of the extras are three featurettes, none of which provide any real depth alone, and which probably should have been used for one single documentary. These three include a brief interview with King, a longer look at the production with interviews from director Lawrence Kasdan, the cast, and a number of crew members, and finally, another all-too-short piece on the visual effects of the film. Finally, along with the theatrical trailer, are three deleted scenes, an outtake, and a decisively anti-climactic alternate ending.

Once again, it's about 60s kids grown up in today's world. They should be about 60 years old but they're shown around 30. And once again someone is being bullied. Someone should tell Stephen King to knock it off with the 60s kids who are being bullied. Speaking of kids, this movis is not for The entire family. It has tons of debauchery words.
The movie is not scary at all. Its not about a dreamcatchers or anything about dreams at all. Totally misleading movie.

John Carpenter action comedy Big Trouble in Little China comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer is preferable to the standard full-frame image. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 4.0, a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo, and a Spanish soundtrack is available in Dolby Digital Mono. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Carpenter and the lead actor Kurt Russell, and the original theatrical trailer. This is a solid disc from 20th Century Fox, but hardcore fans may want to consider the double disc set that contains even more extras.

The best movie Kurt Russell has ever done! It is absolutely hilarious. The martial arts is absolutely fantastic. The special effects are amazing. The special effects are on the level of Star Wars!!!
A sweet, but superficial film with a straightforwardly superficial release, Bicentennial Man offers DVD viewers little in the way of interest, with its only extras being its trailer and promotional featurette (the latter essentially consisting of the trailer cut around very brief cast interview snippets) and a trailer for Music Of The Heart. The trailers are drawn from good masters, and the featurette looks good but offers nothing. The video on the main feature is good, with no sign of compression artifacts, bleed, or shimmer, and the anamorphic image (letterboxed at 1.85:1) is reasonably sharp and clear, with accurate colors, though the overall feature seems somewhat on the muted side after the very colorful (and clever) main titles. The general image quality is high enough, however, that the larger part of the CGI visual effects, which occur as background elements throughout, are quite striking and blend well. As a curiosity, the single-sided, dual-layer disc includes a complete French-language version of the film, complete with main and end titles in French. This transfer is darker and more muted than the English edition, and displays a number of scratches and blemishes. The English Dolby 5.1 soundtrack is fairly clear, though extremely muted, with some odd level changes throughout that required constant adjustments to gain. Separation is good, but the surrounds are rarely given anything other than a little ambience, and the bass channel rarely is called upon. James Horner's score is blended effectively enough to be barely noticeable, aside from the main title music, which has a jarring resemblance to the work of Philip Glass, and thus rather stands out. The French Dolby 2.0 track has a good voice cast, but also suffers with the music being at a much higher level in the mix.

The best movie Robbin Williams has ever done! Based on the short story by sci-fi giant Isaac Asimov (most prolific writer in human history and the man who coined the term 'robotics' in one of his stories that we all now use). This story has tremendous heart, fun, and laughter. A great movie like this only comes around once every few decades.

This is one of those movies where it youre supposed to be seeing through a home video camera being filmed by an anateur. The video camera shakes all the time, making you think that it's a normal person shaking the camera as he walks.

Do you have to have a computer to set it up?
No. I use it only for my Nintendo switch. However, it was challenging, for me at least, to set it up. Renewing the data was also very difficult.
