What a fantastic movie of Arnold's from 1987.
The movie has never looked or sounded so good on 4K UHD!! I mean that absolutely!
The Blu-ray has been out for quite some time, but you can get that newer version of it separately if you choose.
I would recommend this 4K UHD big time though for the 4K video equipment, player, soundbar, etc.

I have to subtract 1 star for the advertisement here on Best Buy due to now showing the proper images for purchase. It shows the Steelbook version, however, it is not. Per other customers that have reviewed it seeing that image, they did not get the steelbook edition.
The Steelbook edition is absolutely gorgeous if you can get that, I recommend!

Although nothing like the original in black and white, this is an updated 1999 version starring some good actors.
One being Ms. Catherine Zeta Jones. Wow, she is so good looking in the '90s. This 4K edition really brings out all the details now on the format and the sound has been upgraded from the previous Blu-ray edition.
All features have been brought over for this nicely done movie.
Menu and selection options are good.
The movie is not scary, but it does have some tense moments for an overall good one.
The movie is 4 stars, but this upgrade to the 4K format gets another one for me over the Blu-ray.

This one is a mixed bag for a Star Wars movie.
I did enjoy it and the storyline, but some of the dialogue was poorly written. Action was decent and characters were good, overall. I do have a problem with the droid helping the young Lando Calrissian. The dialogue is awful on it and the whole thing about a droid seeking "equal rights" is just a stupid segment to even begin with.

Ron Howard is a decent director for the most part, but at times this movie lacked it for his caliber.
The actor portraying Han Solo was good, but not sure they cast the best one since this is 10 years before

The ending of this movie was my favorite part of it where Han and Chewie (now owners of the Falcon) take off for a planet called Tatooine to see a crime boss, Jabba The Hutt.

I really like this Steelbook it’s pretty cool. Lionsgate knows how to make a great Steelbook and this one is pretty awesome. But the only dislike about this is that I didn’t have a chance to finish the movie. Like after hour and a half the sounds just cut off while I was watching the movie. For the 4K and the Blu-Ray. I was very disappointed and had to return it and sadly, they didn’t had any copy of the Steelbook and the regular 4K. Wish I could give this a better rating but couldn’t, I was let down.

Audiences were mesmerized in 1982 by Disney~s release of the film Tron, a groundbreaking fusion of live action and computer animation, setting the special effects stage for decades to come. Video game players were equally drawn to the Tron arcade cabinet, widely considered the most beautiful design ever. Arcade1Up is incredibly proud to produce the Tron home arcade cabinet, among the most requested by hardcore retrogamers. Awarded "Coin-Operated Game of the Year" by Electronic Games magazine, Tron was revered for its gameplay and gorgeous aesthetic. The Arcade1Up Tron home arcade cabinet stays true to what made the game such a draw in 1982, right down to its signature inner lit blue joystick. I spent a lot of time standing in front of one of these in the arcade back when they came out. And I haven't seen one since I enlisted in '85 so I had to get this just as a sop to my memories of happy times during childhood.
This isn't my first Arcade 1up cabinet, but it's by far the most expensive. I don't see the value here OTHER than for that nostalgia factor. There isn't anything here that warrants the price otherwise compared to some of the other games.
That being said, if you can get past the price point and want it, it definitely does bring back those days.
Assembly is pretty standard, although in this set the smallest piece, that is a small bit of wood material about 6 inches long that goes angled on the top above the screen to support the top cover, was much flimsier in here than in my last one. It split with the tiniest bit of snugging the screw down. It was still usable, and I was very careful with the second one, but keep that in mind.
Beyond that, I put it together myself and didn't have any issues with the build I do have a bit of dissapointment with the fitting of the graphic panel just under the joystick - it's not straight and so didn't line up well with the piece underneath it. I may have to pop the back and put some gorilla tape or something on it to keep it lined up better.
The other disappointment is with the joystick. Not anywhere near as good as the original. So light cycles, for example, it gets a lot of inputs that you aren't intending. And the ability to do those tiny little smallest jinks while driving the light cycle are nothing like what you could do with the original.
Sounds are spot on though, and the music is as well. So it's good for a stroll down memory lane even if it's not as good to play as it was. But for the price I expected better.

Thank you for your review! I have been watching this as well to see who would buy one and what it would be like. The price point is just too much, and now you say the controls are not as good, etc. Well, hopefully, there will be a mod available at some point to fix that joystick.

This movie of course was no where on par with the first two. It is worth watching as I think all of them are except for the one with Busta Rhymes in it. This is a classic so buy it and watch it. Too bad they dont make a monster Halloween box set.

Well, this is the second time on 4K for these movies. I believe the first was a digibook style case. They are only rereleasing these to coincide with the newest Spider-Man movie that has all 3 of the guys in it. I'm sure if they sell enough of this set, they will undoubtedly put out a steel book version of it to make even more money. Slip covers, for the most part, are becoming hard to find now. The money is in the steel book casing.

The movies are entertaining however I am disappointed with the packaging. I do not like stacked discs and this set did not add anything extra. Not even a slip cover. I would recommend buying at a discounted price.

As a life long Star Trek fan I purchased this box set to go with my collection.
I would say that these are a good 4K transfer but not really much of an upgrade over the Blu-ray.

It is nice having a digital copies however these are on paramount and not able to be used on Movies anywhere.
No Dolby Atmos
The Motion Picture is currently being upgraded to the directors cut 4K with Dolby Atmos.. the others will probably soon follow.

I don't know which set up you are watching your discs on, but these most certainly DO have Dolby Atmos on them. They look better than ever now in 4K and am very happy to have them. A good 4K player combined with a good 4K TV with HDR is the best set up.

There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

Im seeing mixed reviews about atmos on this one. So does it have atmos or not? If not I thought all 4k movies already includes dolby atmos.
It does NOT have 7.1 Dolby Atmos. It has English DTS 5.1.
Well, when they put this one out, they restored the image of the film, and did not upgrade the soundtrack. Still sounds great on audio equipment and soundbars.

No, it is only a graphic on the front. It is a Legacy Edition, 12 in 1 cabinet.

How do you go to a different game without turning the machine off then back on?
Even if you do play a game, hold down the player 1 button and it will take you to the game select screen in a few seconds.

No, the weight is less because it is not the exact same size as the original Arcade version.

Oh you have to put it together, but the instruction manuals with these cabinets are excellent.

Is this SQUARE aka "full screen" or is this widescreen format?
What is the screen/monitor size?
I have the Ms. Pac-Man unit with 4 games I got through Best Buy. This looks to be the same exact size screen, vertically.
I have the TEMPEST Legacy Edition also, and that is a smaller screen size at 17 inches, horizontal.

Does this Mrs Pac-Man have the speed hack/fast mode added to this cabinet?
Well, it does state it has the in game settings menu, and on my Pac-Man Legacy Edition which also has 12 games, you can change the speed on Pac-Man to make it super fast in the games settings menu. I am hoping they did it for this 12 game unit as well.
