This steel book version is really nice, but I would have liked the movie itself to be a bit better overall. Gal is Gal, she is Wonder Woman and did the best she could with the script given. I think she looked good and the sound was good.

I hope that the next standalone WW movie is far better and has a script that is worthy.

The movie on 4K looks the best it is ever going to get.
It's a 40-year-old horror movie that still holds up.
There are a few familiar faces from the era of 1981.
The blonde actress of the group is none other than that from An Officer and a Gentleman.
Jack Albertson stars as the crazed scientist behind the entire town.
Melody Anderson, from FLASH GORDON (1980) stars as the wife of the Sheriff, played by James Farentino,
THE FINAL COUNTDOWN (1980).
The Sheriff is on to the recent murders occurring in the town and an investigation turns up some disturbing revelations.
This is a brand new edition and a good one to own!!

I can agree with you to a certain extent. Maybe they were not specific enough in the listing details as they should have been. Since these movies have been out for years now, most of them on Blu-ray, this set is a limited steelbook 4K UHD edition for the movies, and a special features disc for the extra content.
Yes, the listing does not say that. There are no Digital copies here in the listing either on Best Buy.

Arrow already did a HD Blu-ray version of this prior. Same slipcover design, only that one was a better slipcover with a graphic sheen to it.
This 4K edition only has a booklet included on the movie. They did the same thing for FLATLINERS and AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON.

What steelbook do you own? The one pictured is the one I own and there is most certainly inside artwork and on back. The disc itself is blue colored. They are not putting out another one just for a 4K edition. Disc only with the typical black holder.

I somewhat disagree with your comment as far as best looking steelbook so far this year. 1996's Ghost In The Shell gets my vote. I do believe that came out this year, 2023. If not, I stand corrected. The artwork on that is just superior in all directions.

There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

So, what's the actual date of release now? Arcade 1up had it in March and Best Buy says Dec. 31, 2021. lol There are many of us eagerly awaiting to get this unit when Arcade 1up SAYS and sends an email stating it is READY for Preorder.

That is true, but, Best Buy usually has a different version, a lighted marquee, and sometimes games will be different as well.

How difficult is this to assemble ? How does it come in the box? I am worried about the electronics and it being assembled correctly.
HI Buffy, well, I own the STAR WARS unit with the riser and I did not have difficulty in assembling that unit. This unit is fairly good and decent to assemble.
The instructions are fairly well put and easy to understand in the manual.
The items come well packed in the box. If you are picking it up yourself, make sure to look the box over for any damage or openings on the box itself. Do not buy those.
Just make sure it looks good before buying and keep the receipt handy if there are any kind of problems or pieces damaged/missing inside. You can return promptly for exchange or refund.
Double check your wiring when attaching the electronic cables, etc. before finally putting the backboard on with the screwdriver and closing it up. Make sure any switches are turned to the ON position.
I would recommend getting this unit at BEST BUY as it is the best version called the SPECIAL EDITION.

No, it has it's own cabinet coming out soon! Best Buy has it on their website, but you can't order it right now as of this writing, Sept., 15, 2020.

No, Arcade 1up machines do not use quarters, only electricity and some frustration when it doesn't work properly. lol

After I pay for the arcade, can geek squad come to my house to assemble the pacman arcade?
Annie, just get a good screwdriver and lay out all pieces, items out as I did. It is not hard to assemble. The instructions are fairly good and detailed. I believe you can do it in a little over an hour. Save your money.
