Outstanding thriller about an insane asylum that seems to be having trouble with the people in charge. 2 Federal agents are sent to the island to investigate, however, getting deeper and deeper into the investigation, it seems things are not what they appear to be.
Leonardo DiCaprio does a great job in this one and I can say I think it is one of his best performances in a movie, period. Ben Kingsley also in the lead as one of the main people in charge of the asylum.
Put this one on your 4K player and sound system on a Friday or Saturday night and you will be in for one on the edge of your seat movies.
4K picture and sound quality are outstanding.
I would highly recommend, but not for kids 12 and under.

In one of the best prison movies made, Tom Hanks stars as a lead security guard in charge of the prisoners. There is one special prisoner that has been sent there that seems to have healing powers after an encounter with Tom's character and him. The prisoner was sent on a double murder charge, but after what happened between him and Hanks' character, things start to look a bit off in regard to the charges and questioning whether the man got an actual fair trial to begin with.
This movie looks really good in 4K and the sound is superb as well. If you love Tom Hanks and his well-done movies, I highly recommend this one!
It is a long movie, a little over 3 hours, so perhaps watch it in parts, 1 and half hour each unless you can sit through a 3-hour movie all at once.
Special features are on the Blu-ray disc provided and Digital copy with slipcover is here as well.

The Howling, a 1980 werewolf movie is still one of my all-time favorites. Now, a brand new 4K restoration and great sound make this one to have. Dee Wallace plays a reporter on the hunt for a good story involving a recent string of homicides. They believe the man responsible stalks the seedy part of L.A./Hollywood.
Once she is drawn into the fact that the man doing the killings is not even human, things get weirder.
Her mental state is affected by a recent encounter known only as Eddie.

Well, after many years of waiting for a good sequel to Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 from the 1980s, we finally have Afterlife. To be honest, I did not know what to expect watching it for the first time, after seeing the trailer on youtube. I personally liked it, but was it absolutely perfect? No, nothing really is especially in movies.
The effects were spot on, and I am really happy to see elements from the original 2 starring Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson and finally Sigourney Weaver who has a scene in the credits with Bill Murray. Very nicely done!

This is the 1UP Arcade to get. Ten games, including MK1, 2, and Ultimate 3. Scan line filter and difficulty settings are available on each game. Some games have additional options. MK1 and 2 have flawless emulation. Ultimate MK3 suffers from occasional slow down when a lot happens on screen. Otherwise it plays perfectly.
This is my first 1UP purchase, and I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I'll pick up more as my favorite games are released.

Received product like many items recently shipped from bestbuy in plain mail envelopes with no padding or protection, when i am spending 80 to 100 for something that comes in a special edition box i expect it to be protected when shipped not placed in a stand mail envelope. the box was torn up and one of the steelbooks has a very visible scratch on it. i understand its not a hard box surrounding the steelbooks but when i ship stuff i protect my items bestbuy just likes to charge full price and not give a crap i am so close to being done and going else where. hopefully i can find this in store at my local best to swap out. had the same issue with recent movie BackDraft the steel book came and look terrible was even bent during shipping.

Not all 4K movies are released with an additional Blu-ray disc. This is one of them. Make sure it specifically says you are getting the standard Blu-ray disc as well as the 4K UHD.

Got as a gift for Christmas. Used about 6 times. Tried playing last week and no screen/picture had sound. I turned off n on many times and no visual just sound. Unfortunately waranty only covers for 3 months! Would not recomend!!

I hope you knew that 4K discs DO NOT play in standard Blu-ray players before you wrote this 1 star review for the movie. You should have known by now that 4K discs have to be played in their own players and can play the others, DVD/Blu-ray. Game systems also have to be able to read the 4K UHD disc as well. 4K is a step up from Blu-ray, overall.

The art is amazing, the panel graphics are fantastic. They did an amazing job remaking this 20th anniversary cab. The screen is ultra clear. Fantastic game selection. And every game has online leaderboards which makes the replay value great. I keep coming back to this cab wanting to get in the top 25. Arcade1up’s quality has really improved over the first gen cabs. They knocked this one out of the park.

Thank you for taking the time to convey what I was thinking without having it physically, yet!
Looking at the cabinet up close with the pictures provided here on Best Buy, it looks like they have redesigned the Volume control and On/Off white buttons also. They look to be flat now, as opposed to be the white pegs they are on the PAC MAN Legacy Edition I own.
Is that an upgrade design for this one? Just curious.

I got this assembled just fine, but then the joystick fell apart after the first play. I got it reassembled, but now it's loose and doesn't feel right. The controls don't respond right either. I am really good at this game and score well in arcades, so something is wrong. I shouldn't have to repair parts for a brand new machine. Not impressed.

Hi, that is a shame and I feel for you. Hopefully, you will get your money back on this. I should say that PAC MAN Legacy Edition is really good, but I feel like the joystick could have been built better. It works, but it really clicky whereas the real one from the Arcade is solid and does not make any noise. That is the only drawback I have on these units, the joysticks are not built well enough.

I bought this thinking it was the Steelbook Collector's Set. Unfortunately, it was just regular packaging. Not worth the price without it being steenboks.

You can still get those, for the Hobbit, and then Lord of the Rings. Finding a good deal on them is key and not all dented up.

Had the Ms Pac Man cocktail table, which I love. Class of 81 blows that one out of the water. Selling the cocktail cabinet.
Lit marquee, best graphics and side art arcade 1 up has ever released, lighted deck with 8 color options, wifi and online world leaderboards, dip switch settings to customize difficulty and speed (software update even added rapid fire to Galaga ... and since it's wifi the update takes place as fast as adding an app to your phone)
I have 7 cabinets and this is by far my favorite. Even got some world high scores!

Thanks for the review! I have to say, I was impressed with their graphics on the STAR WARS cabinet and TEMPEST Atari Legacy Edition, of which I own. This one looks great as well. The lighted deck seems to be a new addition. Good to know!

Retrogaming fans and pop-culture enthusiasts have been clamoring for it, and here it is courtesy of Arcade1Up: the Atari Legacy CENTIPEDE Edition home arcade machine, for the first time in a form factor shaped just like the original classic arcade cabinet!
There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

How difficult is this to assemble ? How does it come in the box? I am worried about the electronics and it being assembled correctly.
HI Buffy, well, I own the STAR WARS unit with the riser and I did not have difficulty in assembling that unit. This unit is fairly good and decent to assemble.
The instructions are fairly well put and easy to understand in the manual.
The items come well packed in the box. If you are picking it up yourself, make sure to look the box over for any damage or openings on the box itself. Do not buy those.
Just make sure it looks good before buying and keep the receipt handy if there are any kind of problems or pieces damaged/missing inside. You can return promptly for exchange or refund.
Double check your wiring when attaching the electronic cables, etc. before finally putting the backboard on with the screwdriver and closing it up. Make sure any switches are turned to the ON position.
I would recommend getting this unit at BEST BUY as it is the best version called the SPECIAL EDITION.
That comes with ~

No, it has it's own cabinet coming out soon! Best Buy has it on their website, but you can't order it right now as of this writing, Sept., 15, 2020.

No, Arcade 1up machines do not use quarters, only electricity and some frustration when it doesn't work properly. lol

After I pay for the arcade, can geek squad come to my house to assemble the pacman arcade?
Annie, just get a good screwdriver and lay out all pieces, items out as I did. It is not hard to assemble. The instructions are fairly good and detailed. I believe you can do it in a little over an hour. Save your money.
