Outstanding thriller about an insane asylum that seems to be having trouble with the people in charge. 2 Federal agents are sent to the island to investigate, however, getting deeper and deeper into the investigation, it seems things are not what they appear to be.
Leonardo DiCaprio does a great job in this one and I can say I think it is one of his best performances in a movie, period. Ben Kingsley also in the lead as one of the main people in charge of the asylum.
Put this one on your 4K player and sound system on a Friday or Saturday night and you will be in for one on the edge of your seat movies.
4K picture and sound quality are outstanding.
I would highly recommend, but not for kids 12 and under.

In one of the best prison movies made, Tom Hanks stars as a lead security guard in charge of the prisoners. There is one special prisoner that has been sent there that seems to have healing powers after an encounter with Tom's character and him. The prisoner was sent on a double murder charge, but after what happened between him and Hanks' character, things start to look a bit off in regard to the charges and questioning whether the man got an actual fair trial to begin with.
This movie looks really good in 4K and the sound is superb as well. If you love Tom Hanks and his well-done movies, I highly recommend this one!
It is a long movie, a little over 3 hours, so perhaps watch it in parts, 1 and half hour each unless you can sit through a 3-hour movie all at once.
Special features are on the Blu-ray disc provided and Digital copy with slipcover is here as well.

The Howling, a 1980 werewolf movie is still one of my all-time favorites. Now, a brand new 4K restoration and great sound make this one to have. Dee Wallace plays a reporter on the hunt for a good story involving a recent string of homicides. They believe the man responsible stalks the seedy part of L.A./Hollywood.
Once she is drawn into the fact that the man doing the killings is not even human, things get weirder.
Her mental state is affected by a recent encounter known only as Eddie.

Well, after many years of waiting for a good sequel to Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 from the 1980s, we finally have Afterlife. To be honest, I did not know what to expect watching it for the first time, after seeing the trailer on youtube. I personally liked it, but was it absolutely perfect? No, nothing really is especially in movies.
The effects were spot on, and I am really happy to see elements from the original 2 starring Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson and finally Sigourney Weaver who has a scene in the credits with Bill Murray. Very nicely done!

Great movie! But Bewarned that this edition ONLY includes the 4K UHD Disc and a Digital Copy. For $30 this should have included a regular Blu-ray disc. I have only one 4K UHD disc player in my home theater and the 4K disc is useless in the rest of my players. Disappointed in this purchase!

Love the steel books. The only negative about this is the cardboard box they came in. It's thick enough but should have been put in a steel shell like The Lord of the Rings Other than that, it's a great series in awesome steel book cases.

John Carpenter’s follow up to the classic Escape from New York is a bit of a hit and miss. There are some likable characters this go round and Snake has the one-liners completely covered. A rehashed story similar to the structure from the original movie, albeit in a new locale, weakens it overall. A short runtime makes it worthwhile for a popcorn action flick, so sit back and watch the explosions! Note: The 4K presentation is amazing, color grading and grain structure are all in respectable standards for this release. I had to return this product before opening because of an audio issue with the surround sound track. This is documented online and Paramount is aware and offering a disc replacement program to fix this. If you have a white UPC code on the back, you’ll need a replacement, but if there is a yellow UPC code, you’re in the clear.

After realizing that this was only just the three movies released during the years of 1995 and 2002, this is not the full complete collection, and completely not worth the price.

Shout Factory already released the first 5 in the lineup, nice packaging, separately some time ago. This set completes the movies, but it was under Miramax, and they had to get licensing for another release on 4K. It's all in one package with a nice box.

Had to grab this 4k Bluray version of Dawn of the Dead one of my favorite zombie horde movies. You get a 4k unrated version, plus a bluray unrated, and also the theatrical version on a Bluray (3 Disc) and they're loaded with special features, would recommend.

Retrogaming fans and pop-culture enthusiasts have been clamoring for it, and here it is courtesy of Arcade1Up: the Atari Legacy CENTIPEDE Edition home arcade machine, for the first time in a form factor shaped just like the original classic arcade cabinet!
There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

So, what's the actual date of release now? Arcade 1up had it in March and Best Buy says Dec. 31, 2021. lol There are many of us eagerly awaiting to get this unit when Arcade 1up SAYS and sends an email stating it is READY for Preorder.

How difficult is this to assemble ? How does it come in the box? I am worried about the electronics and it being assembled correctly.
HI Buffy, well, I own the STAR WARS unit with the riser and I did not have difficulty in assembling that unit. This unit is fairly good and decent to assemble.
The instructions are fairly well put and easy to understand in the manual.
The items come well packed in the box. If you are picking it up yourself, make sure to look the box over for any damage or openings on the box itself. Do not buy those.
Just make sure it looks good before buying and keep the receipt handy if there are any kind of problems or pieces damaged/missing inside. You can return promptly for exchange or refund.
Double check your wiring when attaching the electronic cables, etc. before finally putting the backboard on with the screwdriver and closing it up. Make sure any switches are turned to the ON position.
I would recommend getting this unit at BEST BUY as it is the best version called the SPECIAL EDITION.

No, it has it's own cabinet coming out soon! Best Buy has it on their website, but you can't order it right now as of this writing, Sept., 15, 2020.

No, Arcade 1up machines do not use quarters, only electricity and some frustration when it doesn't work properly. lol

After I pay for the arcade, can geek squad come to my house to assemble the pacman arcade?
Annie, just get a good screwdriver and lay out all pieces, items out as I did. It is not hard to assemble. The instructions are fairly good and detailed. I believe you can do it in a little over an hour. Save your money.
