~ Flatliners gets the 4K UHD from Arrow Video ~
on April 19, 2023

Flatliners starring Julia Roberts and a fine cast from 1990.
Julia's character is one amongst some medical students that want to experiment how far you can go being flatlined and still come back.
The movie looks and sound great on the 4K format!
Thank you Arrow video for this 1990 gem of a movie!
Menu has easy selections to choose from.
Play this movie through your soundbar, not from your TV alone. You will hear audio you have not heard since its debut in the theater.
I would recommend, especially if you are a Julia Roberts fan.

BABYLON - From Damien Chazelle, BABYLON is an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, LI Jun LI and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.

Although I am a Brad Pitt fan for the most part and was looking forward to this movie, it is not that good at all.
It has a hard R rating for a reason. I had no idea it was going to be that raunchy right off the get go.
I do not recommend this for anyone thinking this is going to be another period movie in the Roaring '20s with Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.
No one talked like that in Bel Air, circa 1926.
Reminded me of the slums of NYC or the Bronx for that matter. Yeah, they talk like that even to this day.
F bombs every few seconds in the dialog and it is completely raunchy. There were some disgusting scenes in this one. No wonder it flopped at the box office.
I would say it is one of the worst movies of 2022.
I gave it 2 stars for Brad Pitt's character who did decent and looked good. Margot, yeah, she looked good as well, but the movie was poor overall.
The picture and sound were good on the 4K UHD.
Easy selections on the menus, etc.
* I would not recommend this one.

I really enjoyed this one, and the 4K UHD brings out all the costumes and scenery so well.
The cast did a great job all around for the roles they portrayed.
Tobey and Leonardo were good, respectively.
The ladies were decent as well.
Picture and sound are well done.
Easy selections from menus.
No digital or slipcover with this one.
10th Anniversary this year already. Still looks good.

A fabulous 1980s movie involving a young woman working as a welder that wants to become a serious dancer.
Although she is a nightclub dancer, she wants more in life.
The storyline is good, but it wouldn't fly for the most part today. Her boss at the welding company she works for has a serious crush on her. He's in his early 30s, she's 18.
She pans his advances at first saying she does not go out with the boss, He keeps at it and eventually she says okay.
Things begin to happen from there for her and him.
The movie looks really good now, and the sound is just great through the soundbar.
The dance numbers are superb and the 4K UHD really brings out the colors and detail at night.
Blu-ray has all the special features, 4 in total, an interview with the director, 2 featurettes, and the theatrical trailer.
Love the gold slip cover and nice digital copy.
I do recommend if you are an '80s movie fan of these type.

Outstanding edition of the 1980s classic movie now on restored 4K UHD!
This edition is the ultimate and best we are ever going to get.
If you have owned any previous editions to this for years, you can now retire those and know that this is the best picture quality and sound ever for it.
Lovely steelbook and gorgeous artwork throughout.
We do have a paper cardboard outer sleeve over the steelbook, but I prefer the actual steelbook artwork itself.
This does come with a digital copy.
This is the 4K disc edition only. There is no other format other than the digital copy included.
I highly recommend this one because there is no CGI involved here. Still holds up to the 4K UHD format.

It may seem a smaller movie, but it's really big
By jsoto279 from Illinois, USA
Obviously, everybody was waiting for Avengers: Infinity War, but, we were also curious to know what would happen after that. It was up to Ant-man and the Wasp to bring us back from those devastating events. It was also obvious that anything in comparison would seem diminished. But, if you give it a chance, you will see that this movie is as a larger than life adventure to awe and entertain everybody. The steelbook presentation is as big a collector's item as the movie. So it is highly recommended to get them both

I am a big Marvel fan as well since 2008's IRON MAN. In this particular movie, it was never "up to" ANT MAN and THE WASP to bring us back from the events of THANOS using the Gauntlet with the INFINITY STONES. That event actually took place at the very end of the movie when ANT MAN himself was in the Quantum Realm. Dr. Pym, his wife, and THE WASP were all on the rooftop when, bam!, SNAP of the Gauntlet took place in RAWANDA where THOR and many of the AVENGERS were, including BLACK PANTHER. It's going to be up to CAPTAIN MARVEL and the rest of the surviving AVENGERS to take on THANOS and devise a plan to go back in time.

Test your skills against the classics with this Arcade1Up Atari arcade cabinet. Its 12 titles let you explore hours of retro-style gaming, and the 17-inch full-color display, sounds and authentic controls amplify the experience. The original artwork and upright design of this Arcade1Up Atari arcade cabinet create a stunning focal point in game room displays.

Could be awesome with a couple improvements. But..
By Robert from MN
The trackball is very nice and the buttons are okay, but the spinner is pure garbage. It's a hollow plastic thing that you can literally FEEL mechanically bumping a switch to register rotation. If you're familiar with an actual arcade spinner, it's a hefty metal knob connected to a disc with holes, with optical sensors peeking through them. That ain't what you're getting here. Every "bump" or two moves you to the next segment in Tempest; the software is able to animate your thing "crawling", but the spinner device resolution is so poor that it just doesn't happen.
The video resolution is very poor (like, 800x600 or worse, by my visual estimation), which makes for a lot of visible jaggies on the "vector" games. The monitor is roughly 13.25x10.5 inches, so the vertical games have unused real estate on the sides. Tempest, strangely, seems letterboxed on all four sides.
Missile Command and Liberator play pretty well. Quantum is nearly unplayable because the trackball sensitivity is set too low, whereas Centipede and Millipede seem like the trackball sensitivity is set just a bit too HIGH.
Lunar Lander doesn't use either of the available analog controls for thrust, so that leaves you tapping a button to pulse-thrust, which isn't how the arcade machine worked.
Button placement is okay for everything except Gravitar and the two Asteroids games, just because the tractor beam / hyperspace button is "C", NEXT TO the rotation buttons, rather than below them where your thumb could reach.
Sound is pretty good; it's just a single speaker and the volume control is a 3-position switch though, so don't get your hopes up too much.
I haven't assembled the cabinet yet, but there's no way this could be a solid $400 value unless the spinner control was as solid and authentic as the trackball is, and the graphics were at least as good at simulating a vector display as a 15-year-old laptop running MAME can.

Originally made for cable television, this imaginative biopic chronicles the life of Marilyn Monroe (Mira Sorvino), including the years before she changed her name from Norma Jean Baker (Ashley Judd) and was transformed into the screen persona that made her a legendary sex symbol. The movie employs unconventional, dream-like storytelling techniques in which Marilyn and her former self, Norma Jean, frequently appear in scenes together, with Norma Jean often taunting Marilyn for not living up to her earlier aspirations. Many facets of Monroe's life are examined, including her childhood and adolescence when Norma Jean had to live with foster families because of her mother's psychological problems. In addition to referencing Monroe's work on such films as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), The Seven Year Itch (1955), and Some Like It Hot (1959), the movie explores her marriages to baseball great Joe DiMaggio (Peter Dobson) and famous playwright Arthur Miller (David Dukes), and her romances, including her purported relationship with U.S. President John F. Kennedy (Steven Culp). The film also offers a hard-hitting look at Monroe's struggle with drug- and alcohol-dependency.

Great Packaging for a Trilogy!
By KJT4B
Pros: I love it when they put a trilogy or anthology in steelbook packaging, especially a single case like this! As a collector this is huge, as space is a premium on my shelf. Digital copies included is also extremely beneficial for those moments I want to watch on the go or am just too lazy to go get the case and road the player. All in all a great purchase that would recommend.
Cons: This is a constant complaint of mine - typically folks who purchase textbooks are collectors and go out of their way to acquire textbook editions of movies; why can't they 1) make the movie info card cover easier to trim for saving inside the cover? Or 2) make it smaller in the first place so there's no trimming required? They should consciously anticipate their audience for steelbooks: collectors. Second, I was lucky to discover the trilogy coming out in steelbooks so that I waited to purchase this one; otherwise, if I remember right only 2 of the 3 were available as steelbooks at Best Buy... my solution would be for Best Buy to initiate a "Steelbooks Collectors Club" or something, where you could get on a special list and get head's up notifications of future steelbooks, with the option to remind us when something can be pre-ordered.

"No Theatrical Releases in Set"
April 1, 2020
There was NEVER a plan to include those in this set. They are NOT the ones George wanted in the first place after the fact he had the technology to do what he wanted.
If you are so bent on getting the mistake prone, optical effect laden gaffes in the IV, V, VI ones, go for it. Good luck finding a machine that will play them on.
VHS sets out from mid to late 1990s.
Laserdisc sets out from mid to late 1990s.
So rating the entire box a 1 STAR because you're upset it doesn't have those is a joke. You're obviously paying DISNEY more money in the long run for individuals. So, you are giving DISNEY MORE. lol

Not Perfect, but Still Great
By Shawn
This set doesn't include the original theatrical versions of the original trilogy, which is what fans have been truly waiting on, but this set is still the best available so far. 4K audio and video is outstanding for most of the films, with The Phantom Menace having the weakest looking video. The set looks nice and the booklet is also attractive, however sliding the discs in and out of the booklet requires some patience and care. Overall, this is a nice set that is a no brainer for collectors, but it's not quite the ultimate set that many have been looking for.

Overall review of the "Skywalker Saga" 9 movie Set
By 93Vet
Having been a long time fan of the series, starting on the infamous date for all SW fans, 25 May 1977, I was eager to get this set and have all the movies in UHD 4K.
This set does NOT include the SW stories "Solo" and "Rogue One".
I will be getting "Rogue One" separately for the 4K as I have "Solo".
The box itself is decent, it has a leather like feel to it and opens up on the sides to reveal a middle "silver book" that contains all the discs and original artwork from each of the 9 movies.
The movie pages have the 4K and Blu-ray disc housed in their own respective sleeves on the upper right corner and are labeled as such when you remove them. Removing them is a sticking point, but as with anything disc, you have to handle with care. They are a bit tight as this is a new set and I think over time it will loosen a bit for each disc. The outer black case does not line up absolutely on the line, and that is a bit of a disappointment when it comes to the Death Star graphic on the front, but that is a minor thing to me. It's not handmade by Rolls Royce.
The 9 bonus discs are pretty good, but NOT all the material for each movie is in THIS set. There is new material, interviews, etc. for this set mixed with original material brought over from the 2011 9 disc set.
You can find more on the 3 bonus discs that came with that Blu-ray set. Keep those 3 discs if you have it.
Also, the 2004 Star Wars Trilogy "Bonus Material" DVD is exceptional with the vintage IV-VI trilogy content. Has ALL the trailers for those three movies and the EPIC documentary "Empire Of Dreams". That to me, is THE documentary for the original trilogy. This is NOT on this 2020 Box Set.
Some of the vintage trailers are on the bonus discs for IV-VI.
Episode IX does NOT have any deleted/extended scenes on the bonus disc. Why? I don't know. I do believe there is much footage that could have been added here. We get a "Skywalker Saga" documentary, rather it's a behind the scenes 2 hour video mostly about VII-IX with a little bit of footage from IV-VI added in here and there. No mention of Episodes I-III at all.
The plus here for me is the total package, although the disc sleeves may have been better, it doesn't appear they will scratch easily as the material behind it is slick. They are tight on the sides, but I believe over time it will loosen a bit. Handle with care as always. We get all the movies on UHD 4K with newer prints. The original trilogy (IV-VI) has never looked better.
No, it does NOT contain the 1977, 1980, 1983 theatrical releases with all mistakes and film defects inherent in those, even now in later format releases (VHS box sets/1995 THX Laserdisc sets).
You will never see those on a UHD 4K set.
George made it clear many years ago, that the movies that were originally seen on the screen in those years were not the complete vision he had at the time. He couldn't do alot of things he wanted because of the limits of technology at the time. So, he basically had to wait unitl the movie technology caught up.
Even if this set is not the most perfect one, I do like it, but it could have been better overall for content and the placement of discs in the sleeves. Artwork is well done and the artwork on the discs are well done, too. A solid 4 Stars.

You are not going to get the 1977 "version" on 4K or Blu-ray. In fact, this was released in 2004 on DVD, but the quality was atrocious for that format's ability.
The only way you are going to get the '77 version is either through one of the following formats:
The 2004 DVD (official release)
The 1995 THX VHS Trilogy Sets (official release)
The 1995 THX Laserdiscs (official release)
The "Despecialized" version on Manufactured on demand Blu-ray disc (unofficial release)
I do not work for Disney, but I have been a long time fan of the series from the very beginning. I went to the first showing in my City on May 25, 1977. I was 10.

This collection features the wonder of the entire Star Wars saga, capturing the moments from a young Anakin Skywalker's descent into the dark side to the rise of the Resistance and their struggle to restore peace in the galaxy. The story that electrified a generation comes to a striking conclusion.

Excellent Compilation

I didn’t award FIVE stars because Lucas didn’t provide the original, theatrical releases. We get the kiddified Cantina shootout where Greedo fires first and Han fires best. No need for this: once Greedo pointed his blaster at Han, that’s an overt act of aggression and Han acts in self defense when he fires, even when he fires first as in the theatrical release.
For this price point, a lavish, illustrated hard bound book really would have set this piece off. But maybe they’re waiting to fleece us for an 8k version?
On a related note, I would love to see the Star Wars saga updated and re-released in theaters and Blu-Ray. For example, the death of the Death Star should no be so swift. A gigantic moon sized station shouldn’t vaporize but rather split up in big and small pieces. A Death Star meteor shower into Yavin’s moon and stormtrooper bodies and body parts would more convincingly demonstrated the destruction. The Super Star Destroyer, or should we say Stupor Star Destroyer, does nothing in the series. Change that!
But this is an excellent purchase and will entertain for a long time. Buy and slot in Rogue One 4k too.

Greedo fires first?
April 16, 2020
The Cantina scene on the 4K disc did not have Greedo firing first. There was an added scene with Greedo saying a word and then they literally shoot at each other at the same time, with Greedo missing and hitting the wall. This is a new scene added from Greedo. It did not exist in prior releases.

Retrogaming fans and pop-culture enthusiasts have been clamoring for it, and here it is courtesy of Arcade1Up: the Atari Legacy CENTIPEDE Edition home arcade machine, for the first time in a form factor shaped just like the original classic arcade cabinet!

There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

Evolving from its 1958 beginnings as an amusement game manufacturer, Midway produced some of the hottest arcade games of the 80s and 90s, that have since been adapted into film, television, and much more.Their monsters-wreaking-havoc title Rampage~was a giant early hit, and then leaps in live action digitizing technology led to Mortal Kombat~, recognized as one of the most important titles in video game history. With it~s over the top darkly humorous gameplay and finishing moves, Mortal Kombat~became an instant franchise with iconic characters and enduring catch phrases.

So, what's the actual date of release now? Arcade 1up had it in March and Best Buy says Dec. 31, 2021. lol There are many of us eagerly awaiting to get this unit when Arcade 1up SAYS and sends an email stating it is READY for Preorder.

Does this come with a deck protector as well? I know the most recent ones have had it, but this does not specify.

Are the 13 games included

No, there is only 7 included here for this unit. You are thinking of another unit that is more expensive and is not made by ARCADE 1up.

HI! DO THIS PAC-MAN ARCADE GAME CONSIST OF ONE OR TWO PLAYESR? DO THIS SAME ARCADE GAME COMES WITH A RISER?

Yes, it has 1 or 2 players. Yes again, this unit does have the custom riser AND THIS UNIT is a SPECIAL EDITION unit, different from the WALMART version.
This unit has the LIGHT UP DECK PROTECTOR as well as THE MARQUEE. It also has a CUSTOM STOOL with it, that WALMART DOES NOT HAVE. Hence, the price difference.

Is this regular arcade size

No, it is about 3 quarters size. All Arcade 1up cabinets are pretty much the same size, overall. I would highly recommend getting ones with the custom riser as it adds about 1 foot to the height. I have the STAR WARS unit with the custom riser and it is really nice.

Do the device have to be in a climate controlled area?

Well, as with any electronic device, I would think you should have it protected from the elements and any high humidity levels. I have 2 video game units, a STAR WARS arcade 1up with riser, and a Tabletop unit with 3 player sides. They are protected at all times.

Will this include the slip cover?

I believe each individual one has the slipcover from Best Buy. I just purchased ROGUE ONE the UHD 4K set.

Will this include the original theatrical version? Lucas's version with added footage is not the great memory I have of the Star Wars trilogy. I sure hope they give us at least both versions and not just his official version.

Sorry movielover, but the versions you are describing are NOT in this set and probably will never be offered again.
The only way to get the 1977, 1980, 1983 "versions" are the following:

The 2004 DVD sets that were made before "Revenge of the Sith" came out in 2005. (Official Release) *The quality on those were atrocious for DVD format ability at the time.
The 1995 THX VHS sets (official release)
The 1995 THX Laserdisc individual movies (official release)
The very first VHS versions that ever came out in the 1980s (official release) *Quality on those are poor for today's TVs.
The "Despecialized" manufactured on demand Blu-rays (unofficial release) *You can find out how to get those online as I don't have that info. here.

Now that Kathleen Kennedy is no longer a part of the SW movie making process, I have hope that one day in the future we may get an official 4K release of the original trilogy.

Does this, as well as the other movies, include the bonus/extra content like the behind the scenes? And is it the same as the ones you get in $250 complete saga box set?

Yes, it is the same content, Gio. The individual sets have slipcovers and contain the 3 discs/digital copy. Same amount of discs for each movie in the box set. The digital copies are also included in the box set.
