This is the brand new 2021 4K edition and the overall packaging and design are fantastic!
The menus are great and easy selections.
The audio is fabulous at 7.1 Atmos, which is new.
You also get the 5.1 and standard audio.
All special features have been brought over from previous editions for this particular sequel.
The insert for the movie is reversable, so we get the poster artwork for the movie that was released in October 1988.
I highly recommend!

I love it so far. 12 games in all. All ATARI games and the custom riser really does come in handy. I am 6 ft. 2 in. without shoes.
The buttons really work well, the volume control is excellent, and you do get to go in and change the settings for each game, that is a MUST for anyone, or you can select the standard for each game.
The only thing I have for quality in the long run is the trackball.
The spinner is okay for now, but that may have to be modded at some point for an upgrade. I am hoping that will be the case.
The black plastic piece just will not hold up over time if you use it on TEMPEST quite a lot. I have seen modifications made to other units with a similar spinner and that was chrome metal and far more sturdy.

Oh, stay away from this one, folks. Far away. I am an Eddie Murphy fan of his '80s hits, but this one, is a flop.
The effects for the time look decent and the mansion they picked, etc. for the base story is nice to look at, but that is only a piece of the whole picture.
Whoever designed the menu setup for this Blu-ray should be ashamed as well. It's not good using a pop up style menu.
When you press MENU on your remote it says NO MENU.

Bad casting in this one and for it to be a DISNEY movie, over fifteen years ago at least, it has some bad language in it as well.
NOT recommended, especially if you have young ones watching it for the Halloween type of atmosphere.

I had not seen this until a few days ago. It was outstanding in every way. The entire cast did a great job on their respective roles and there was no slow pace at all to it.
I enjoyed the lead cast and the entire storyline.
I hope they release this on a 4K version eventually. The Blu-ray looks really good on the 4K equipment.

Finally, we get an individual 4K deluxe release of Halloween II, the continuation of the night in which Laurie Strode came face to face with Michael Myers, her nearly forgotten brother.
After breaking out of the insane asylum, Michael plots his way to Haddonfield, Illinois for a family reunion and to kill anyone who gets in his way from doing in his sister.
Laurie, after suffering serious injury, finds herself at the city hospital. Michael escapes Dr. Loomis once again after being shot several times and tries to elude the local sheriff's at all costs.
He winds his way through the city as they partake of the dark night of Halloween, along the way, killing yet another innocent girl. He finally learns of Laurie's presence at he city hospital and makes his way there, wreaking havoc to all.
Laurie finally realizes Michael is there and tries to escape from his grasp once and for all.
Doctor Loomis arrives on scene to engage Michael as well.

Great sequel and now it looks fantastic in a brand new 2021 4K

We get pretty much all of the extras that have been released prior, with the exception of several individual deleted scenes by themselves without narration.

There is some here on this edition with narration from the Director and he explains why they did not make it into the final movie.
I believe the 30th Anniversary Blu-ray of Halloween II has those individual deleted scenes that had to be cut.

The TV version is on a DVD being standard definition, I am a bit dismayed as to why they went and put the first Halloween TV cut on a nice Blu-ray and left this sequel on a DVD. Anyway, at least we have it if you want to see that version.

For once, we get an individual Deluxe release of this other Halloween story that has nothing to do with Michael Myers, the insane psychopath out to kill his sister and any living relatives that he may know of.
The overall packaging and features on it make it THE BEST version of this movie that has ever been released. I say that genuinely as I have owned several versions prior to this one.
There is an overall improvement in the 2021 4K disc and audio Dolby Atmos 7.1. It is outstanding.
I personally thought it could not get better as far as picture quality since the Universal Blu-ray release as I still have that.
I was pleasantly surprised to see it so beautiful and sounding so good now. I play all of these back on the Sony 4K player and 55" 4K TV with HDR. That in conjunction with a Vizio sound bar for audio makes it fantastic!

The zombie movie of the year for 2013 and it still holds up as quite an action paced flick. I think Brad did a great job for his role and in fact, the cast did as well. There were no slow spots in this movie and if you are a horror fan, I think you will like this one.
A ravaging virus has taken control of the Earth's population with tragic results, but Brad Pitt, who is one of the main characters, discovers it's weakness and must battle them to get to a cure of sorts.
The package is good, we get the Unrated version on Blu-ray with a great menu, the DVD copy of it, and a Digital version.

We finally get the solo deluxe treatment of HALLOWEEN (1978), starring the young Jamie Lee Curtis and a host of young talent. Directed by John Carpenter, (The Thing, Christine, Assault on Precinct 13), this first original film on the Halloween franchise is now a must to own 4K deluxe package. Not only do we get a nicely done outer clamshell that is not flimsy, we get the reversable insert for the original movie artwork as well.

For years we had the series on several DVD packages and although glad to have it as a full set, it just didn't look that good overall.
Analog DVD is an old format and to have this finally come to Blu-ray HD is truly amazing.
Lynda Carter does an outstanding job as Wonder Woman in the 3 Season series from the late 1970s.
The imagery and sound have not been this good before, even in the TV broadcasts back on 1976-1979 TVs.

This is the 1UP Arcade to get. Ten games, including MK1, 2, and Ultimate 3. Scan line filter and difficulty settings are available on each game. Some games have additional options. MK1 and 2 have flawless emulation. Ultimate MK3 suffers from occasional slow down when a lot happens on screen. Otherwise it plays perfectly.
This is my first 1UP purchase, and I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I'll pick up more as my favorite games are released.

This is a war movie and not for the younger viewers.
HIghly recommended for all those that love Robert Duvall.
His portrayal of a Colonel in this movie is spectacular.

Received product like many items recently shipped from bestbuy in plain mail envelopes with no padding or protection, when i am spending 80 to 100 for something that comes in a special edition box i expect it to be protected when shipped not placed in a stand mail envelope. the box was torn up and one of the steelbooks has a very visible scratch on it. i understand its not a hard box surrounding the steelbooks but when i ship stuff i protect my items bestbuy just likes to charge full price and not give a crap i am so close to being done and going else where. hopefully i can find this in store at my local best to swap out. had the same issue with recent movie BackDraft the steel book came and look terrible was even bent during shipping.

Not all 4K movies are released with an additional Blu-ray disc. This is one of them. Make sure it specifically says you are getting the standard Blu-ray disc as well as the 4K UHD.

Got as a gift for Christmas. Used about 6 times. Tried playing last week and no screen/picture had sound. I turned off n on many times and no visual just sound. Unfortunately waranty only covers for 3 months! Would not recomend!!

I hope you knew that 4K discs DO NOT play in standard Blu-ray players before you wrote this 1 star review for the movie. You should have known by now that 4K discs have to be played in their own players and can play the others, DVD/Blu-ray. Game systems also have to be able to read the 4K UHD disc as well. 4K is a step up from Blu-ray, overall.

The art is amazing, the panel graphics are fantastic. They did an amazing job remaking this 20th anniversary cab. The screen is ultra clear. Fantastic game selection. And every game has online leaderboards which makes the replay value great. I keep coming back to this cab wanting to get in the top 25. Arcade1up’s quality has really improved over the first gen cabs. They knocked this one out of the park.

Thank you for taking the time to convey what I was thinking without having it physically, yet!
Looking at the cabinet up close with the pictures provided here on Best Buy, it looks like they have redesigned the Volume control and On/Off white buttons also. They look to be flat now, as opposed to be the white pegs they are on the PAC MAN Legacy Edition I own.
Is that an upgrade design for this one? Just curious.

I got this assembled just fine, but then the joystick fell apart after the first play. I got it reassembled, but now it's loose and doesn't feel right. The controls don't respond right either. I am really good at this game and score well in arcades, so something is wrong. I shouldn't have to repair parts for a brand new machine. Not impressed.

Hi, that is a shame and I feel for you. Hopefully, you will get your money back on this. I should say that PAC MAN Legacy Edition is really good, but I feel like the joystick could have been built better. It works, but it really clicky whereas the real one from the Arcade is solid and does not make any noise. That is the only drawback I have on these units, the joysticks are not built well enough.

I bought this thinking it was the Steelbook Collector's Set. Unfortunately, it was just regular packaging. Not worth the price without it being steenboks.

You can still get those, for the Hobbit, and then Lord of the Rings. Finding a good deal on them is key and not all dented up.

Had the Ms Pac Man cocktail table, which I love. Class of 81 blows that one out of the water. Selling the cocktail cabinet.
Lit marquee, best graphics and side art arcade 1 up has ever released, lighted deck with 8 color options, wifi and online world leaderboards, dip switch settings to customize difficulty and speed (software update even added rapid fire to Galaga ... and since it's wifi the update takes place as fast as adding an app to your phone)
I have 7 cabinets and this is by far my favorite. Even got some world high scores!

Thanks for the review! I have to say, I was impressed with their graphics on the STAR WARS cabinet and TEMPEST Atari Legacy Edition, of which I own. This one looks great as well. The lighted deck seems to be a new addition. Good to know!

Retrogaming fans and pop-culture enthusiasts have been clamoring for it, and here it is courtesy of Arcade1Up: the Atari Legacy CENTIPEDE Edition home arcade machine, for the first time in a form factor shaped just like the original classic arcade cabinet!
There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

So, what's the actual date of release now? Arcade 1up had it in March and Best Buy says Dec. 31, 2021. lol There are many of us eagerly awaiting to get this unit when Arcade 1up SAYS and sends an email stating it is READY for Preorder.

No, I do not believe it will contain the unaltered original trilogy. Those are only available in the THX Widescreen/Full Screen Editions on VHS and Laserdisc from 1995.
George Lucas did release them on DVD in 2004 as a bonus in another package but they were not remastered or restored. They were inferior copies to say the least.
All 9 Star Wars "Skywalker" movies are in this set on 4K UHD/Blu-ray/Blu-ray Special Features disc/Digital Copy for each movie.
That's 27 discs total, plus the special artwork/packaging.
The only movies that will NOT be in this set are ROGUE ONE and SOLO, which are Star Wars Story movies.

do the bonus disks also come on digital?
I don't believe so. All previous releases of these SW movies have never had the special features on the digital format included. I think only the movies will be digital coded.

how do I get the 3D version? That is the only way to watch star wars.
Good question, I have been a long time fan of SW since the very beginning in May, 1977. It seems Disney is reluctant to provide us with their 3D versions of the movies. I do not understand this. The only 3D set that I have is from STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. That was a completely separate black sleeved set for purchase.
Hopefully, they will release it separately, but it does not appear it will be a part of this particular set.

Just to be sure , it doesn't include Rouge One or Solo but does it contain The Rise of Skywalker ?
It will not include the STAR WARS STORY movies, "ROGUE ONE" and "SOLO".
These will only be the 9 Star Wars "Skywalker" movies, all on 4K UHD and Blu-ray, plus any special features that most likely are already out in previous releases on one Blu-ray for each movie. DVD format will not be included in this set.
