This is a long movie, but if you are into that like TITANIC from James Cameron, you are going to like it.

Outstanding edition of the first AVATAR on 4K and a new Blu-ray along with it. This is a gorgeous slipcover with all the artwork. I love it. The white background looks good! First of its kind to my knowledge.
For some, it is a bit of a bummer that a steelbook version was not also for sale at the same time as this.
Folks, it is marketing technique. Look at what Paramount has done with the first 4 Indiana Jones movies! They did this to get more money from us consumers.
I believe there will be a steelbook edition of this coming.
The 4K is the Theatrical version ONLY. Don't get your hype up for the Extended to be on the 4K. We only have that on the Blu-ray edition. I know, I know. I hate it, but other movies have done the same thing and put the extended on the Blu-ray only.

I can agree with you to a certain extent. Maybe they were not specific enough in the listing details as they should have been. Since these movies have been out for years now, most of them on Blu-ray, this set is a limited steelbook 4K UHD edition for the movies, and a special features disc for the extra content.

Arrow already did a HD Blu-ray version of this prior. Same slipcover design, only that one was a better slipcover with a graphic sheen to it.
This 4K edition only has a booklet included on the movie. They did the same thing for FLATLINERS and AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON.

What steelbook do you own? The one pictured is the one I own and there is most certainly inside artwork and on back. The disc itself is blue colored. They are not putting out another one just for a 4K edition. Disc only with the typical black holder.

I somewhat disagree with your comment as far as best looking steelbook so far this year. 1996's Ghost In The Shell gets my vote. I do believe that came out this year, 2023. If not, I stand corrected. The artwork on that is just superior in all directions.

Not sure who made the decision to downgrade the audio from 7.1 (which has been on all previous releases) to 5.1 but geez, really?!?
Awful, just awful. My copy will be returned at first opportunity. Super disappointing.

Well, NO 7.1 Atmos like the previous HD Blu-ray release and NO UNRATED CUT on the 4K disc make this a CHEAP CASH GRAB.

Retrogaming fans and pop-culture enthusiasts have been clamoring for it, and here it is courtesy of Arcade1Up: the Atari Legacy CENTIPEDE Edition home arcade machine, for the first time in a form factor shaped just like the original classic arcade cabinet!
There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

So, what's the actual date of release now? Arcade 1up had it in March and Best Buy says Dec. 31, 2021. lol There are many of us eagerly awaiting to get this unit when Arcade 1up SAYS and sends an email stating it is READY for Preorder.

will this charge my apple tv remote?
Not sure, but I asked the Best Buy tech on duty and he sold me one similar to this one for my Galaxy 21 phone.
It works well. My advice to you would be to go in person if you can and tell them your question. They should point you to the correct item that will work for you.

Most steelbook editions contain the DVD as well. Do any of these contain the DVD's? And none of the special features are listed. I am particularly interested if the 4k/blu-ray have extra features that the DVD's do not. Thanks for your quick reply. Cathy
No, there is no standard DVD in this one or the newest release with different artwork.
The special features are on the Blu-ray disc itself.

Your best bet now, Dan, is to find one on Ebay or similar. It has been 5 years now, so it is most likely out of print.

It did when it first came out on 4K. I don't think it can be found in the brick-and-mortar stores with one now in 2022, 5 years later.
