What a great job KINO LORBER has done on this movie from 1984. I believe this may be the best it has looked since it's debut. Brand new HD Master from a 4K scan of the original camera negative. So, it does show here on this new Blu-ray version.
Same special features as appears on the Shout Factory version, the interview with the screen writer, theatrical trailer, audio commentary by Director Joseph Zito.
Added are several Chuck Norris movie trailers, which are fantastic.
Kino always does this with their releases, if possible.

If you don't already own the Blu-rays that have been out for several years now and only want the 4Ks themselves, I recommend the individual package with the first 4 in the series. That does have the digital copies as well.

This set is really nice, a good slipcover, 2 4Ks, 2 Blu-rays and digital code for 19.99. I could not pass that up, had to have for the Eddie Murphy 4K movies and these itself.

I can agree with you to a certain extent. Maybe they were not specific enough in the listing details as they should have been. Since these movies have been out for years now, most of them on Blu-ray, this set is a limited steelbook 4K UHD edition for the movies, and a special features disc for the extra content.

Arrow already did a HD Blu-ray version of this prior. Same slipcover design, only that one was a better slipcover with a graphic sheen to it.
This 4K edition only has a booklet included on the movie. They did the same thing for FLATLINERS and AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON.

What steelbook do you own? The one pictured is the one I own and there is most certainly inside artwork and on back. The disc itself is blue colored. They are not putting out another one just for a 4K edition. Disc only with the typical black holder.

Absolutely love the movie. It gets 5 stars. But the plastic slip cover is completely warped and ruined. The best looking steelbook so far this year and it's damaged. Disappointing to say the least.

I somewhat disagree with your comment as far as best looking steelbook so far this year. 1996's Ghost In The Shell gets my vote. I do believe that came out this year, 2023. If not, I stand corrected. The artwork on that is just superior in all directions.

Not sure who made the decision to downgrade the audio from 7.1 (which has been on all previous releases) to 5.1 but geez, really?!?
Awful, just awful. My copy will be returned at first opportunity. Super disappointing.

Well, NO 7.1 Atmos like the previous HD Blu-ray release and NO UNRATED CUT on the 4K disc make this a CHEAP CASH GRAB.

Retrogaming fans and pop-culture enthusiasts have been clamoring for it, and here it is courtesy of Arcade1Up: the Atari Legacy CENTIPEDE Edition home arcade machine, for the first time in a form factor shaped just like the original classic arcade cabinet!
There are misleading images of this unit's screen size when showing Centipede. The game is a vertical game as it should be. However, there are photos of it being squashed or horizontal. Which is it?

So, what's the actual date of release now? Arcade 1up had it in March and Best Buy says Dec. 31, 2021. lol There are many of us eagerly awaiting to get this unit when Arcade 1up SAYS and sends an email stating it is READY for Preorder.

will this charge my apple tv remote?
Not sure, but I asked the Best Buy tech on duty and he sold me one similar to this one for my Galaxy 21 phone.

Most steelbook editions contain the DVD as well. Do any of these contain the DVD's? And none of the special features are listed. I am particularly interested if the 4k/blu-ray have extra features that the DVD's do not. Thanks for your quick reply. Cathy
No, there is no standard DVD in this one or the newest release with different artwork.
The special features are on the Blu-ray disc itself.

Your best bet now, Dan, is to find one on Ebay or similar. It has been 5 years now, so it is most likely out of print.

It did when it first came out on 4K. I don't think it can be found in the brick-and-mortar stores with one now in 2022, 5 years later.
