So this set is great! It includes all 3 versions of this great film in glorious 4k resolution. This is a particularly great title for the format considering that it was filmed on (I believe) 70mm film, meaning that the remastering is a true 4k transfer and not a simple up-conversion like some films.
That said, I wish the packaging were improved. The packaging is GORGEOUS, but once you remove the plastic, the outside portion of the packaging makes a c-shape around the case and is just loosely glued to the main packaging with that clear snot-looking glue, so it's not really designed to be salvaged for display purposes. I just don't like that this portion of the packaging is meant to be disposable since it is what contains the film info and 4k banner. I took some clear plastic and glued it to the front of this to make into a sleeve, which could have been easily done when this was designed. A minor complaint, but there it is. The trifold design is also fairly flimsy, so making this sleeve like I did really helps to improve the sturdiness of the packaging when on the shelf. Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself, but I can't be the only one who feels this way right?

Digital Code Redemption Process Weird, Movie Great

So I guess Lionsgate is just trying to crack down on people stealing the digital codes for their movies, and that's fine. It's just a little confusing at first. You have to download an app on your phone and then scan a qr code and that might be an issue if you don't have the phone for that. There's a website you can go to in order to bypass this, but it's equally confusing in my opinion. Great movie though and I will buy many more movies from Lionsgate if this is what they're churning out so no criticisms there!!!

I originally bought this at Walmart out of convenience. However, when I got home and pulled the slipcover off, I noticed a small 1.5" cut in the plastic near the box opening. I opened it to find that someone had managed to fish out the digital copy code. Now this is not only a 4k movie (and so more expensive), but also a disney movie and they are notoriously difficult in these situations. So I went back to walmart, and they did not want to give me a refund as they did not believe me (understandable but still), so I went back to their movie section and found 3 more 4k marvel movies with the same cut in the plastic, indicating that this is an ongoing trend there. I brought these to customer service and at that point they refunded me since they had no more copies of Endgame that weren't compromised, and then I went to best buy and picked this one up. I'm not saying that this kind of thing doesn't happen at best buy, but I definitely got the impression that there was greater effort put forth in preventing these incidences as opposed to the general apathy that I got from Walmart. Always check your movies before you buy them people, and if you can, save yourself some headaches and just go to best buy. :-)
