Will the sound be decent enough "Atmos" without the 2 satellite surround speakers? The way my room is, I do not have a wall behind the couch and can not put speakers on a stand either without kids knocking it off.
Honestly , I haven’t tried it without the rear speakers, but the sound bar has pretty deep bass, clear audio , and loud enough for me. The subwoofer is super powerful if you change the setting for it to the highest on the remote it comes with. The rear speakers just gives it that surround sound ability and makes everything sound so much more louder. But to answer your question more clearly , I strongly believe it will be good enough for you without the rear speakers if you choose not to use them.
