Great laptop, however...

This is my first Mac, and I am happy with it. I gave it 4 stars because at boot up, it’s slower than my last year’s HP Spectre with I7 and 16gigs RAM, this laptop is at least 3-5 seconds slower, and it take 3-4 seconds after typing the password to start. My HP, with Windows Hello face recognition log in smokes this Apple laptop

Wonderful machine but...

The soundbar is amazing, however, I was only getting 4.5 battery life out of it. I updated all drivers and BIOS and left it on all night with only the screen saver going, and I got 4.7 hours out of it, unacceptable. I went to a HP Spectre 13 inch, and it’s been on for the last 4 1/2 hours with 37% left of battery, and this is with light to moderate work. Do yourself a favor and get a different one if you worry about battery performance. The sounds is amazing with Dolby Atmos soundbar, the Dolby Vision screen is not quite there yet.

No, the 13in ones do not have a HDMI port. They have one regular USB, 2 type C, one micro SD
