Odd things during test usage

so my first couple of times I tried to use this, an external HDD connected through this device would just disconnect for no apparent reason. not cool. I have not tested the other features (card slot effectiveness). it does look good however.

It's a hard drive. an early review is mostly pointless because only if it fails is it bad. I haven't tested the speed so I cannot say that's good or bad. I can say that in my usage case (Storing my Photos, iTines and iMovie libraries, it is fast enough. could it be faster? yes, but I didn't want to pay for SSD speed.

good budget alternative

We've had this fridge for a month now and it replaced an old school side by side. it is huge inside. more fridge space than we need for a family of 4 if you really get down to it. but that means no more shuffling stuff around to find things.
freezer is adequate, b ut probably more space than our old one!
only issue is the inside full width drawer and one of the two veggie drawers do require you to open BOTH fridge doors, but that's a minor issue.
