Nice Steelbook, but No Digital Code

The steelbook is very nice; a decent addition to my collection. And it was great to finally upgrade this movie to 4K. But the steelbook did NOT come with a digital code, unfortunately.

Great Picture Quality...when it works.

I bought this player because I have an OLED TV and my previous blu-ray player did not play movies in Dolby. But I found this player did, and after reading reviews, I decided to buy it. Now, I'm not sure if I got a faulty player or not, but about a month after I bought it (conveniently after the return date passed), it began to show some flaws. Sometimes it won't play a disc unless I eject it and put it back in. At times, while a movie is playing, I'll see white scratches on the screen (this only happens when I'm watching a movie on this blu-ray player), and recently, while watching a movie, it goes black for a second or two, and then the movie restarts but switches to HDR. Not sure why it doesn't just play the movie in HDR since the beginning. When it works, it has great picture quality. I love the way movies look, whether it's a DVD, regular blu-ray, or 4K. Would I recommend this? Not sure. The menu looks dated and it doesn't have any apps besides Netflix and YouTube. If you like dealing with issues, then sure, go ahead and buy it.

This was my first SteelBook I purchased from Best Buy. I love the packaging, plus not to mention, the movie itself. The disc was loose when I picked it up at the store, however, the movie plays fine.

Fantastic Steelbook and an overall classic! What is there not to love you say? Missing a digital code? Contact Warner Bros and they will provide you with a digital code. Here is the link:

All you need is a copy of your receipt. Contact them and they will send you directions on what you need to do. They respond rather quickly too!

I just used that link to try to get the digital code for this movie and they told me they could not provide me with a digital code. They didn't give a reason, but I guess there is a time limit to request it. I bought it a couple of months ago.
