I've been a fan of Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series from the beginning. While the movie is only a condensation of the whole series I can understand that it's just not possible to include all the different tendrils of all the different plots and subplots involved. "A" for effort though.

For whatever bizarre reason this movie caught my baby boy's attention. The movie was rated PG 13 so I didn't have to worry about the usual *#@%&$$ Deadpool language usage. Baby boy loved it. I could tell by the laughter.

It was 1969, and the lull at a once trendy hotel on the California/Nevada border ended with a rush of clientele including an aging priest (Jeff Bridges), a vacuum salesman (Jon Hamm), a drifter (Dakota Johnson), and a soul singer (Cynthia Erivo). However, agendas and identities aren't all what they seem... and between a hunt for hidden bank loot and cultists arriving at the door, no one should expect a good night's rest. After I returned the Toshiba television I looked at several television models that the store had. This Sony (of my ownie) is the one that attracted my attention. The price was another issue but, the refresh rate was an amazing four times (240 Hz) as fast as the Toshiba. Which accounts for the price differential. The picture quality is amazing. I love my new tv.

I bought this television because it was "The Fire Edition", and, the price was right. I took it home and set it up. While I was watching the Kansas City Chiefs play the Indianapolis Colts I noticed that some of the action on the field was not being properly displayed on the screen. I looked at the carton and to my dismay I saw that the refresh rate was 60 Hz. I called Best Buy and explained my dilemma and asked if I could return the item and get a "better" one? I was advised as long as I had the receipt... yes I could. which I did.
