If you take it to account the features of this set, it really is not that expensive. Quantum LED. Full array LED backlighting. Local dimming (60 zones). Dolby Vision HDR. 4 HDMI inputs (1 ARC). Android TV (some prefer other systems like ROKU or others, but personally I like the Android interface). Already has the most popular streaming apps installed and has the Play Store library for additional apps. Built in voice assistant. Bluetooth.
I was actually a little skeptical, because of the low price, given the specs of the TV. But I was blown away by the performance of the set. To get the features and performance in a more established, mainstream brand, you will pay much, much more. I decided to give this set a shot, since I have been an owner of a 49" Hisense 4K smart TV since 2018 that I have in my bedroom. So when my 2year old 65" Android 4K TV (of another brand from another retailer) in the living room crapped out, I shopped around for a replacement in the sub $1000 range. And I have not been disappointed. You'd have to spend twice as much in other brands to get a comparable set.
