Great rollout with one major drawback

Love the console, but it does not bode well as a 4K UHD player quite yet. I am hoping Sony will release a firmware update allowing compatibility with Dolby Vision and tonemapping for the best cinema experience at home.
Games so far have been incredible so it does meet my expectations with regards to being a nextgen game console. I absolutely love the controller too. However, Sony consoles are supposed to be “all-in-the-box” so I’m disappointed that this is a subpar 4K UHD Blu-ray Player.

Is the estimated annual operating cost really $313.00 US dollars for the 77 G1? Because that is alot more compared to the step down series of C1 77 of $38.00 US dollars.
I have had this TV for over 4 months now and don’t notice a significant change in my energy bill. However I do live in coastal California and energy costs tend to be lower out here too. But I still find it hard to believe that the operating cost for this TV runs hundreds of dollars a year…
