An Almost Perfect Dash Cam

I bought this dash cam as I heard about their popularity in Europe. It's not bad, but it can be improved upon. My biggest gripe is that if it gets too hot, the touch screen is almost useless and you'll have to manually power off in order to access the menu. The only other issue is sometimes it says "SD Card Format Error" to which I just manually power off until it doesn't get the error again. Other than that, It's a decent dash cam.

When I connect my BluRay players (Sony, Samsung) & Roku Ultra, HDMI Passthrough doesnt work. I get a BLANK or BLUE SCREEN. HDMI passthrough does work when I use PC & FireTV Stick. Everything works if directly connected to TV but not Onkyo. Any solution?
