It's a rather polarizing movie that tells the story of a reformed white supremacist who must, after a prison sentence for murder, keep his brother from heading down the same disastrous path he did. It seems most people either love this movie or hate it. I believe that, even if the movie isn't your cup of tea, you must respect it for its courage and unflinching honesty. The movie is an epic tragedy of the darkest side of American hate. It probes into society's seeping underbelly of racism, sexism, and violence, but its messages are ultimately those of change and the redemptive power of personal integrity.
