Best of the many, many Fifth disks

This is about the eleventy-seventh disk release of this movie. If you're like me, that means you're out a bunch of cash. I have good news, though! This 4K UHD is the final word, and the last time you'll need to purchase it. Colors really pop the way Luc Besson intended and the resolution adds depth to not only the space scapes - very welcome - but to the fabulous sets and art direction of this one of a kind film. I detected no artifacting or haloing and motion was smooth in the film's many side-screen transitions. The *sound* is sublime! Yes, you can go back to making the Diva Playa Laguna and the intercutting of the action one of your reference scenes to wow your friends. It's all here, finally, and looks fantastic. Aziz, light!

Great authoring on all of these movies, with virtually no artifacting, motion issues, haloing or crushing the blacks on these dark scenes (admittedly, ymmv with regard to your tv and especially calibration). Sound is overwhelming at reference levels yet still distinctive in voices, placement of objects around the soundstage. You are probably going to want to use the extended chase to capture The Joker as a showpiece for your friends. Really strong presentation with nothing at all, nothing, to quibble about. Put it in and enjoy these as good as home theater can deliver them! Equipment used was OPPO UDP; Marantz 8012 running Dolby 7.2.4; and LG 77" OLED
