I am having a terrible time with the water level of my machine. If I don't do the deep water setting, my clothes don't all get wet. I put in One set of queen sheets and half of them were still dry on the normal water level. What do I do?

What is the depth of the tub, how difficult is it to get socks out?
I'm 5'4" and don't have a problem getting clothes out. I prefer this top loading kind of machine because it doesn't smell from mold like the new front loaders. Also holds a lot more clothes. No problem washing blankets and comforters. I washed a whole twin bedding set in 1 load. No problem at all.
