While it is heavier it is a great camera for the cost. The zoom is great and with great clarity. Nikon does make a very nice camera.

How well would this camera be suited for car and nature photography? I’ve been looking into the Nikon D5600 or this camera and wanted to know if going with something a bit more expensive is really necessary, being that I only do it in my free time.
It will work well for your needs. The 16-50 lens is going to be best suited for car/nature photography in general. Overall it is a very good camera. The next two models in the a6 line offer a few better features but nothing significant versus the price. You'd have to go to the full frame and spend a lot more money to get better than the a6000 but that is my opinion as well as reviews I've read.

How do you take this off the lens?? I tried a filter remover but it did not work.
It unscrews like any other filter...but...you have to remember to hold the ring closest to the lens, not the knurled ring that is used to control the polarizing effect...good luck
