book says 4 lights stay on when charged, other poster says different. Which is it how long to fully charge? Do I have to keep pressing battery button to find out when it is done charging?
The lights on the back only come on when you push the button underneath them to determine the amount of power left in the battery. In the instructions it says 40 hours play time, I have not gotten that out of it but then again I play mine loud so that might make it have less play time. Still, I get 15 to 20 hours of playtime per charge and have found it takes mine about 3 hours to fully charge from 2 to 4 lights.
