Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. The Last of Us is a game that brought tears to my eyes, to feel the sense of loss in the beginning. Understanding Joel’s choice in the end. A child is worth the world to any parent, that was The Last of Us beauty. The TLoU 2, wasn’t needed in my opinion. This was a sequel for profit only. I’m aware all games are made to make a profit. The story isn’t there, it’s apparent as you play. There are better mechanics yes, better graphics ehh. TLoU 1 is Lucas Star Wars and TLoU 2 is Disney sad attempt.

Going to admit, I had this ordered at another company back in August of 2021. They never shipped it, cancelled, Best Buy had it on release day and shipped free express next day in my hands. Why BB is winning back my loyalty. Advance Wars 1+2 is a great turn based strategy game that’s aged beautifully. With fully voiced characters and short anime scenes. Mixed with modern graphic touch up, rewind feature in battle, and online play. There is hours of content to enjoy again or for the first time. Personal favorite, no day one patch.

It’s the sunset on the PS4 for me, it always ends on WWE 2k. With last years revamp basically adding combos, improved graphics, and gameplay elements GM mode/My faction. It showed promise. 2k23 in my opinion out did itself. It looks amazing, better commentary, sound, the feel of an event, crowd chats, and impact sounds. Deeper GM mode with larger shows, main and mid card titles, larger list of matches to have, and have four players vs each other. Universe mode has added a very cool feature, rivalry options. You can use this to tell your own stories how you’ve wanted them to play out. Now it’s not perfect, they are still patching the game each DLC release. And there are four more to happen so I think this has a brighter future ahead in the series. Finally a new game mode War Games, a WCW classic brought in to NXT and last year’s Survivor Series. Many of us use these games to tell our own stories, if a WWE fan past or present 2k23 is a One and Done!

This is only for the product itself, the show is great as ever. Owning every season on Blu-ray already I knew what to expect. This season, can tell WB/Discovery cut costs. No commentary on any episode, but that’s not all. It’s a Blu-ray that when you stop at any point has to restart. Meaning you can’t pick up where you left off, some Blu-ray’s I have remember where I was even after not watching for year. This isn’t the first Blu-ray in my collection to do this. Those were the type with only the movie $7 deal discs. For a show that’s had five seasons on Blu-ray that are awesome, season 6 is a large dip in quality.

It’s been tough few years, have to say when my wife wasn’t awake turn to our Switch to unwind. Got it in 2019, right before the upgraded battery release of base model. It wasn’t lasting very long before needing to recharge on the little charging stand I’d got. Heard the OLED model was better in a few ways. It’s great the screen is bigger, the colors do jump out at you. Played NMS and wow! The end of the day what I think this model does best is the battery life. First week it lasted over 7 hours before needing a charge. Don’t normally play that long, have to say Factrio is a game that hooked me in. Can play and listen to audiobook or podcast on sleepless nights. When I did, turned on stop watch and two times over 7 hours.
Highly recommend a larger SD card. We have the 256GB in first and OLED the ACNH 512GB. It doesn’t take long to fill up cards with many games having more then one title on them. Looking at you Bioshock, Assassin’s Creed Enzo collection, and Borderlands. Not to mention if you want to get some of the great games that are digital only.
It has a much softer sounding fan, stays cooler when playing as well. At the end it’s the battery that’s not made me regret getting us a second Switch.

How Many Disk Are In The Set?
I just opened Mine this week there are two cases. With five discs in each case. Disc one was great having 8 or 10 episodes on it, I just don’t remember how many for sure as just started. I am impressed that each episode is broken down into chapters. In the DVD release you got 5 episodes on each disc and if you pushed next on your remote it went right to the next episode. You do need to make your screen wide just like the DVD release. Also has the Blue-Ray menu so easy to move from episode to episode.
