The packaging for this cable did not specify that this is a directional cable, meaning that DisplayPort must be in the input position (source, computer, etc) and the HDMI must be the output (screen, tv). I had to return this and use a different cable.

Having problems with this cable not working on either of my consoles; I have the DP connected to my Monitor, and the HDMI into the back of my console. I’m using this cable on a PS4&XBOX ONE S. The Monitor only has a DisplayPort & HDMI and 5 USB inputs.
