I only learned of this game a day before the release date and it sounded like it was right up my alley, so I decided to pre-order it despite the negativity. I'm glad I did because I haven't had this much fun with a game in a long time!
It seems like people just look for any reason to hate on things these days. The world is beautiful, the exploration is fun and I love the fact that you get distracted with other things while doing a quest. It just feels massive and emersive. I haven't experienced any major performance issues.
It's definitely gonna take a while for me to learn all the mechanics of the game, but it's so worth it. If you're on the fence but you think it looks good, just get it. I don't think you'll regret it, unless you're someone who likes to nitpick everything.

I like this armored Batman figure. He has a lot of detail, the cape is a soft rubber and he's nice and sturdy and somewhat heavy compared to others. The only complaint I have is that he didn't come with any accessories besides extra hands, but I knew that already. I got him on sale and he came with 3 months of YouTube premium, which was a great bonus!

I was still using a 1080p TV from 2012, so I decided to upgrade because I got a PS5. This was the cheapest one I could find from a brand I was familiar with. I can't really say how it compares to other 4K TVs since I've never had one, but it looks good enough for me. With a little calibration it's definitely a huge upgrade from my old one.
I like the fact that it's a smart TV and the OS runs smoothly. Between LG Channels and Pluto TV, there are hundreds of free channels. The HDR and game optimizer mode has the PS5 games looking great and running smoothly. I can't really review the sound of the TV because I use a sound bar. All in all I am happy with it so far, it seems like a good value for the money.

This is everything I've ever wanted in a game! Who wouldn't want to openly explore the universe? I love being able to travel to all the different systems, craft new upgrades and items and make contact with different life forms. It seems overwhelming at first, but you will quickly get the hang of it. I've only had it for a week and have put 25 hours into it already. If you like crafting survival type games and wish to freely explore the universe then get this game! You will not be disappointed!
