I didn’t feel like climbing up a ladder every few weeks or months to replace rechargeable batteries and having cameras off waiting to charge. Also didn’t want to pay for a second battery to prolong the climb. Good reviews from BestBuy and other sites online.
Bought the 2 pack Ring Spotlight, so ended up buying two solar chargers. Charged the batteries included with the cameras and then installed. The backyard camera started with around 85% battery. After a day with the solar panel connected to the camera the battery was charged up to 100%! Second camera was installed above garage. This side of the house gets less sunlight the backyard. So after a few days the battery was dropped from 85% to 65%. Thought I got a dud wit this one. I decided to leave it up a few more days until my day off. Checked the Ring app and was surprised to see both Cameras at 100%! It just needed a chance to prove its worth.
Now the connector that plugs into the camera didn’t have the extra piece (plastic wings) to connect to the back of the camera. Looked around online to make sure I didn’t buy the wrong solar panel. Looked like the pictures on the instructions are for an older panel.

It was a pre Black Friday deal. Bought a 75” Samsung TV and the BB sales agent had me listen to the sound bar as an add on. It was on sale and I didn’t want to be disappointed if the TV speakers weren’t good enough to watch movies and videos on. What the heck?! Bought it and not disappointed!
Sure knowing the specs would’ve been a plus. Or you could take this for a test drive at the store to see flr yourself.

The high rating this tv mount received does not help with how it functioned. To Sanus’ credit, they do have a ton of different tv mounts that have received high reviews on BestBuy ratings and other sites like Amazon.
This one lacks holes in the middle of the bracket that attaches to the studs in your wall. They have 3 holes on the left side and 3 holes on the right. I didn’t know the distance of the studs on my wall. If it would have lined up with the preset holes the. That would have been a win. Sanus should account for this like they do on other mounts. Strike 1
So my Geek Squad agent asked if we could install the TV slightly to the left a bit and then we could center it with the brackets extended out. Didn’t think of it at the time but felt I didn’t have a choice since they’re installing it and all I’m doing is telling them what I wanted (height of center of TV, positioning, etc. The downside to this was it defeats the feature of having it flushed against the wall. Now that we’ve had the TV (75” Samsung) on the wall mount for a week, it’s really starting to bug us that it’s extended out a foot from the wall at all times. Strike 2
The TV we bought it heavy and it feels like I’m pushing on the screen to move the TV around. It’s not a one touch gliding, sliding action To maneuver this thing around. Strike 3
Now if you can get the specs from Sanus before purchasing, and also not getting stuck with this mount by your salesperson at BestBuy, do some research to see if it works with your wall. If the studs are not where you need them to be then this may not be the mount for you. If you don’t need a TV mount that extends almost 2 feet to point the TV from one direction to another, then this mount isn’t for you.
Giving Sanus another try with the BXT3-B1. Fortunately with Geek Squad installations, you can have them come back out within 90 days from the original install to have a replacement put up (check with Geek Squad to confirm this policy).

Shopping for a home security camera system was very overwhelming! Not only read the reviews on BB, but also looked at Amazon and online reviews, YouTube unboxing, contacted security companies to see what their packages included, etc, etc, etc.
Found an inexpensive camera with solar for under a $100 on Amazon. We needed two plus a micro SD card (128 gb for each). Camera came with an app and we were on our way. Only problem with the Amazon set, only one person can be logged into the account when an alert went off. Major issue with this since both my wife and I need to be able to access video footage on our phones when needed. Returned the Amazon cameras.
Back online looking for a reliable security camera that had solar and can have multiple users at one time. Came across Ring camera info and was about to place a new Amazon order. Decided to visit our local BestBuy.
Found the Ring Spotlight Cam on sale and it came with the Echo Show 5 for free with the 2 pack. Bought the matching Spotlight solar panels.

Picture quality is great when connected to strong Wifi. One of the cameras had a lower picture quality when it was connected to the ChimePro after we installed it. After resetting the camera and connecting to our home WiFi, picture quality improved.
So far very happy with the purchase and we are both able to check in on the property when motion is detected.

With the home school curriculum our children have, we made a list of things they needed to be able to do their school work.
