Known to LG to Make Bad Tasting Water

This hose caused a horrible chemical taste in my water making it undrinkable. Thought it was the filter or a problem with my new fridge. An LG repairman came out and said that this hose is known to them to cause horrible tasting water. He told me to buy a hard line plastic hose. Bought one at Home Depot for $10 and it instantly fixed the problem.
