The technicians was able to connect the gas hose to the gas line because the fitting was different, so i went to homedepot and got the fitting and install it myself. So double check your fitting.

Sorry to stay there are no vertical adjustments, only horizontal.I was hoping for the same thing but when I received the stand I realized that. I am a bit crafty so I use a 2x4 and made a 30 degree wedge and screwed it down first then screw the tv bracket onto it. It give me the perfect angel
