Absolutely love this machine. I have many CDs, old and new.
No playlists, itunes, ipods, blue tooth etc. Just good old fashioned music listening. Long playing with slots for 6 CDs.
I believe there are reviews with people that are surprised about the dimensions of the unit. Fits perfect in my cabinet. Check your dimensions.

Great peace of mind

I had heard of 'external hard drive' but did not really pay much attention as it was something I never thought I would need...until I did.
I began getting messages on the computer when I tried to save anything , that the 'storage was full'. Not good, as my computer was not that old. With BB help, I was directed to this external hard drive to save everything that was already on the computer and also being able to save and add new files going forward. For $60, it was l lifesaver to me. I had to be shown how to use the external hard drive (plug USB into computer , run, and transfer.)
Almost that easy. Had to be shown exactly what things to click on.
Not computer literate...

Records well. Needed some recordings off of radio and videos.
Play, pause and hold buttons are self explanatory,
Never used a digital recorder before, so was not sure how to transfer to a computer file. There is a USB that slides out from the recorder for direct input to the computer USB port.
Once inserted, shows up as IC recorder. After clicking on that, there were several choices (?). I picked REC and once clicked
on, the folder with the recording is there for download.
Maybe all self explanatory to someone versed in this, but I really am not knowledgeable with computers. That is why an
'average ' for ease of use. It may be 'good or excellent' if you already know how to use it.
