There is no spot to pour or place your detergent in! You just sprinkle it in the bottom Forest if it's powdered detergent and put your clothes in or throw your clothes in and pour the liquid detergent over it. There is no place to just put your detergent in like other washers. I was scratching my head at first to like where do I put the detergent in the bleach goes in front and it does have a place to pour it into. Fabric softener you have to either put it in at the beginning or stop it on the last rinse cycle and poured in them. One little thing they forgot to tell us. You have to literally stop the washer go over to it and put the fabric softener in before the last rinse cycle. That's how it's usually done in regular washes but they say just use the wash enough softener together because it doesn't have the capacity to do it the way it's supposed to. Bad design flaw but look at the bright side I won't break
