A required vent kit for a new dryer

It does seem that when y ou purchase a new dryer, the dryer should have all needed attachments to operate. For some reason, the vent kit and electric cord do no come with the new dryer. No other appliance requires that you purchase extra items to actually be able to perform the service intended.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Does not automatically dispense softener

We did not realize the washer didn't have an automatic dispenser for softener. The washer stops and you have to then add the softener. If you don't listen closely, the washer will stop and not continue until the softener is added and then restarted, adding time to the cycle.
