Well made and easy to install

This hose as a required item for my washer. That was fine with me because the mesh hose seems really sturdy, and I won’t have any concerns about leaking which might have eventually occurred if reusing the old hose. The delivery man installed the washer and did the hookup. The hoses fit securely without use of tools. The man doing the installation was efficient and courteous.

I’m very satisfied with this washer. It’s easy to select the appropriate cycle for the items to be washed, and the manual provided good information if I had any uncertainty about setting up the washing cycle. A minor issue is that the small drawer for detergent at the rear of the opening under the hinge of the lid provides a slightly awkward pour of liquid from the detergent cap, but it’s not a big deal.
The whole purchase and delivery process went extremely well.

The only problem so far is that on "COLD" wash, the machine rinses "HOT". I read a few reviews and many said the same thing. It doesn't make sense to try to keep clothes cold and to rinse them in hot water. I had the sales person call her LG contact and he said that because we live in the desert, we have hotter cold water. We wash at night, and owned our old washer for over 12 years. It never rinsed hot on the cold wash setting. I have owned this for about 3 weeks. It would be good to have the LG reps know what is going on.

Check your hose connections - may be reversed

Like Johnbob, I thought it was odd that that the clothes seemed to have been rinsed in warm water, but was too busy to further investigate. On another occasion, I found that the Best Buy installer had connected the new hoses to the wrong intake on the washer so that the hot water was connected to the cold water intake for the machine. The intake position is embossed on the back "ledge" of the washer, and it seems reversed from what would be logical in that the cold is connected to the left side as one faces the front of the washer and the hot water is connected on the right side. It was a bit hard for me to redo the incorrect connections because the hoses are very tightly connected and my hands are perhaps not as strong as most.
